seaupuck wrote:wow, Tonka wins 3-2, but Benilde scores twice in the final 26 seconds and the refs wave them both off. The 2nd goal i could not tell, but the 1st one was definately a goal, the puck was still lose, but ref lost site of it and blew whistle early. Evenly played, great hockey game
If he lost SIGHT of the puck, the whistle was not early.

While the official is supposed to blow the whistle when they lose sight of the puck, they're also supposed to be in position to make the call.

While the official is supposed to be in position to make the call, sometimes he might not be equipped with X-RAY goggles to see the puck, which would be the only way to see it.

Not that it matters, but where was the official in question and what is the proper position?

Last night was the 2nd time I've seen BSM and even though they lost I really like the make-up of this team.

* after watching this game I dont see how IFalls got shut out by fort francis.
I saw Fort in the XMas tourney at Duluth Marshall. I thought the exact same thing as you. I think maybe they got physical and I Falls had a off game.
Do I have to shadow Pavelich again coach?
