Most Overrated teams in A & AA

Would love to see your rankings then. I can't imagine they'll look too much different. Edina, Roseau, Minnetonka, Benilde, and Hill-Murray on top in some order. The next batch of teams behind them probably look the same too.

Your just another one of those northern boys who's bias. How come Roseau has not played a top team in the state. Are they scared of playing one of the big boys from the south. I am not talking about Jefferson, but more like edina, hill, tonka, benilde. They (roseau) knew coming into the season they were going to be good so why didnt they schedule a game against edina. A team that was known as on of the top teams in the state from last year and people knew that they would be one of the best this year. They should have scheduled a game so they could have an idea on were they sat in the state. But they didnt because I think they were scared of losing a game. Because by they end of the year the only thing l roseau is going to be celebrating is A nice record, nothing else

In AA Hopkins. The 2 best teams they played they lost to. Minnetonka and Edina.

I find it a bit ironic that somebody would call out Hopkins as overrated. At the beginning of this season, nobody thought Hopkins would do squat this year. They lose Fink and were coming off a rather mediocre season last year even with Fink.

But now Hopkins wins more than expected and they become "overrated".

Edina makes eveyone in Roseau tremble with fear! Preppy guys are so scary! How come Edina hasn't played the best team in the state? Are they scared of playing the big boys from the north? You act like Roseau can just decide who they want to play, then they're on the schedule. It's not that easy! If Edina wants to play Roseau so bad, have Edina's AD call Roseau's AD and maybe they can figure something out. Roseau hates Edina and Edina hates Roseau, that's just the way it is.

UNitl Roseau beats one of the top teams in the state they should not get any credit for being the best. They will get credit when they beat one of the really, really, really, big boys from the metro.
Oh yeah one more thing. the state champion will be from the cities not from the north. This year the quality of hockey up north doesn't even compare to the quality of hockey in the metro.

In all seriusness, i understand people's arguments. Roseau does not have a tough schedule. But the whining and complaining is getting really old. The schedule is what it is. A ranking means nothing. If a #1 ranking is so important to them, i'm sure the Rams would gladly give them the #1 ranking and take the state championship instead. To say Roseau has no chance against the likes of Edina and Tonka because of their schedule is something a window licker would say. Someone who takes the short bus to school. It sounds like Edina might have a lot of short buses in their fleet.

I'm starting to think you really have no clue. No matter how many attempts to tell you anything, you can't for the life of you DREAM that any team could be better, or higher ranked than your beloved Hornuts.....

As I said before, I do think Edina has a good team- I have seen them play ONCE. They looked good, but not unbeatable.

I don't care who Roseau plays - they are a great team, not just good, but great. Call it arrogance? I think it's the other way around when you obviously have the jealousy factor going on that the Rams just so happen to be higher ranked than you.

Get over it! Rank Roseau 1st, rank em last - it really doesn't matter what you think........if it makes you feel better "Edina should be rated #1" - yeah, now you can sleep at nights......

The only hate I'm aware of is "hate to lose". In fact Roseau has tremendous respect for Edina along with a host of other programs including, TRF, Blaine, I. Falls, and Grand Rapids.....all coming up and wanting a piece of the Rams.

Who cares about in season rankings? An subjective poll means nothing compared to the objective outcome of a game. If both teams play to their potential, a March showdown is probable.

They still don't hang banners of poll results in the arena. If it makes all the people in Edina all warm and fuzzy to be #1, heck, give it to them.
