haha yeah I know there are no JV games but I did still show up at 6 to get my spot. Great crowd turnout tonight for this game. STEV did you happen to hear shots at the end I missed that? The Valley student section was very solid in supporting their boys tonight. Congrats to AV on a good fight and good luck to Eastview on Saturday. Goals for AV I believe was Thompson and Fischer and for EV was Maloney (2) and Schwieger (2) I think is what it was no positive on that though.STEV16 wrote:Final, EV 4 AV 2
I give AV a lot of credit in this one. They should be proud the way they played. Congrats to EV on the win, hopefully they can start a run now.

Eastview defensive play as a team was stellar tonight.
#12 and #16 are true hockey players for EV. AV ran out of gas, and then EV just shut them off from getting any momentum.
AV's goalie played as good as you could ask for. Truly the kid should hold his head up high. He has solid. At 1st I thought it should be the freshman, then as the game continued on I was like .... " yes this guy is good " It was nice to see. This performance will be mentioned in my column.
Crowd was jacked... not sure why more support wasn't there for Eastview they are the team with aspirations for state. I was a little surprised of lack of school spirit ( neighborhood spirit) You actually should be ashamed... the game was 70 / 30 Eastview, the fan support was 90/10 AV... that may come into play down the road as one program seems proud and the other is still searching for a identity.
#14 from EV Feinhage is a GREAT high school hockey player. I think he has much more to work on as far as leadership and sportsmanship before next year or we may be learning real quickly from looking upwards from the ice.

Both goals scored by AV were not osheas fault. He actually played very well, made the saves he is supposed to make. The goals were scored by Fischer and Eckenberg. The Eckenberg goal was on the power play on a great tip. I will still say this though Gorski over Peters any Day!!!!
Good Luck to Eastview, you are the best team in this section!!!!
