For the last time, why won't you ask BM? A lot of MM issues have been brought up, and you don't believe the majority? Settle these issues once and for all and call him up, or corner him at the rink and ask. Grow a pair and man-up. Can't wait to hear your next personal attack and avoidance of the main issue.

"Oh yeah you must be talking about High Off the Glass, I know that guy, ever since I had to cut his kid, he has been making up stuff like that. He's mildly retarded so you'll have to forgive him."
Nice story on WCCO

I've seen that also. Why?

Couple reasons I can think of:manitoba00 wrote:Just wondering about all the Machine kids sitting on the bench in between shifts. (instead of standing up waiting for their turn) What is the supposed advantages of doing this or do you think their are any disadvantages to doing this? (not a critisism, honestly wondering why its done)
#1 - So the kids have time to recover quicker (get off their feet, take a few deep breaths and grab a drink of water). Gotta think there is a little bit of a physical edge if the kids got off their feet for a portion of the game instead of standing the whole time. I also imagine there is some study out there that proves this point.
#2 - Easier to run the bench - kids aren't jockeying around, hanging over the boards, fighting for their place in line etc. . . and the coaches know where everyone is at so it's easier to make a change or move kids around if necessary. Just another part of the discipline of a well organized team.

Let me ask you this: When little bongsmoker had to do the knee bends, did you immediately pull him from the game?

Do you even have a player at MM or do you just like irritating people with your general ignorance. The truth is you wouldn't Ask Bernie because your would end up doing knee bends, or bending over in some other way to ensure little insecure#41 can continue to skate down at MM.
Do me a favor. You are down at MM or atleast you say you are. Ask a parent on the 99 machine team, any parent, I'm sure you haven't irritated them all yet. Ask them what happened after they won the Subway championship in Manitoba. Heck, Ask one of the kids how the locker room was after the final. Let me know what they have to tell you. If that doesn't open your eyes, there is no hope.

How do I tell which ones are the 99 machine parents? Do they glow orange or something?

Apparently I am not aware of everything at MM. This blatant child abuse that you claim goes on at MM hasn't been at all obvious to me. According to the guy who eats dogs there are fleas skating around everywhere and midget parents too, but I certainly have missed seeing that as well.True, and a guy that's so aware of everything at MM should know these things. 1. I haven't to this point claimed blatant child abuse. that seems to be your words, not mine.HockeyDad41 wrote:Apparently I am not aware of everything at MM. 2. I asked you to ask parents from the 99 team what happened after they won a championship in Manitoba. A simple question. It seems to me that you would rather not have any facts. You claim to want some sort of proof of what goes on, but when given the opportunity you balk at it. If the parents have kids currently on the team, they would have no reason to lie or make false claims against your hero. Simply ask if you want to know or go away. You have the ball, it's in your court. The proof you so desperately don't want is in your place of worship.

Here is my take on you and maybe if you take this with a grain of salt you can learn something...I don't consider myself an expert on AAA hockey and many people know me on this board so I don't pull punches and or hide behind a monicar on this forum. I have been around hockey for a long time both playing and coaching. I have seen a lot of kids come and go and have been fotunate enough to coach some kids that have gone on to play pro hockey and some that have gone on to great things in business. I have also seen many that have gone the other way too. I have been cut from teams and lead teams to State tourney victories.. So again take what I say for what it is worth.HockeyDad41 wrote: Nope never been that dad. You must be talking from personal experience. Here is my fortune tellars read on you .......let me know how off base I am. Then this thread like many others you have been in can slip off the bottom of the page. 1. You Never played beyond high school hockey and I seriously doubt that you even made it to a varsity team... (I'm not bashing you just predicting from your earlier posts) This by itself isn't bad...You look for advice and spout off about all that you know...MM... Again not a bad thing on its surface but if you don't want to know the truth don't ask for advice on a subject. 3. Little Johnny41 is probably 7 or 8 at this point and you haven't ruined him yet.... Although if he is 6'3" at 7 or 8 you might have a hard time keeping the scouts away. I noticed from your other posts that he plays or played on a AAA open type team. That is good thing and have fun with it. don't let me or others that are giving you the poop on AAA programs sell you one way or another. 4. Don't get caught up in the MM or Blades or Showcase or any other trap. all have good things to offer but on the other hand don't bury your head in the sand either...And finally if your kid is good someone will give him an opportunity unless you are as your posts suggest a nutbag parent that will ruin it for him. ( I have seen that happen many times also)
one last final final.. stop using the your kid got cut line I have seen it in at least 5 of your previous posts talking about me and other posters and it lends no credibility to your rants.

"I just enjoy irritating people with my general ignorance."
Sorry to give this a very undeserving bump but this thread is just cracking me up! HD41's little Choice Mite is about 6 years old so if he's really 6'2 and 215 lbs he should be pretty visible at MM. If you see him, extend to him my deepest condolances for having, in his own words, a very" ignorant" father. Wish him the best though - heard Lucia has him on the radar already for the 2021 year Gopher team but first he has to actually make a Machine team.
