Recognized how and to what end? This site - while followed by some dedicated individuals - is not far reaching. And neither this site nor any unofficial poll is going to get Eagen to St. Paul, which is the only tangible and real recognition that exists. Minnetonka is receiving all the accolades in the world right now, but none of it will win any games for them. Eagan is having a fine season and should they make it through sections (or even to the section final) their name will be out there if it wasn't already.

This is the 2nd time I will agree with HSHW:

1) We all can just take out toys and go home. :cry: Slap Shot ruined everything :evil:

You missed the point. Slap Shot simply relayed back to HHF his opinion on why some are annoyed by his relentless cheerleading and insatiable need for his team to be "recognized".

Shakey said it quite well. There's nothing wrong with a lively debate about what the rankings could/should be, but the whining disguised as, "wanting recognition" at a message board is a bit much.

I was included in the rant though. Yes, I comment a lot. I like this site and the opportunity for discussion. The reason I have commented on them multiple weeks in a row is that multiple weeks in a row they have been lower than a team they beat head to head.

I do agree "whining" is annoying.
