WBL 4

Stillwater out shot them 39-28 I believe. Really good game and I would love to see these guys in a section Semi depending on how the seeding goes.
All that matters is the score my friends

True but come sections I think a few of those extra shots may turn into goals. Bears had their four-leaf clovers tucked into their breezers tonight.

This was a pretty entertaining game. I think both of these teams are fairly evenly matched. 5 on 5 play was pretty even for the majority of the night, with both teams capitalizing on special teams. The Bears I thought had the majority of the puck control throughout the second period, but Stillwater played a great 3rd period. WBL was really on their heals in the final minutes of this game, leaving me worried seeing them nearly blow 3 goal leads in back to back games....

How many chances did the Ponies miss on in the 1st and 3rd period?? Held WBL to 6 shots in the 2nd. WBL took advantage of the PP in the first. Stillwater needs to figure out the goalie situation fast. If they would have played the 1st period the way they finished it wouyld have been different.

Nice game WBL.

I am very surprised at how this game played out. I thought, with the celebration and all, that Stillwater would come out flying.

GFD, it might be time to get a new FAVORITE team in the SEC. From the sounds of it, you might fit in well with the Woodbury parents.

No doubt it was an emotional game. By the way, the WBL fans wearing red, and the WBL players with red tape on their sticks in support of the Gunderson family, did not go unnoticed... very classy.

I'm sure the Ponie fans had hoped the team would take that emotion and channel it into a win. However, as any current/has-been competitor knows that while it makes for a great story-line, it's difficult to make it all happen on the ice against a competent opponent with their own agenda. Then again, it's not like the story/season is over either, hmmm... :-k

Coach Housley says "HI", and chit chats w/me ..... Coach Sager doesn't even say "Hi" and avoids me.... so, why would I change allegiance away from Stillwater??

As far as me fitting in with the Woodbury parents????? I already am an honorary resident.

Ponies vs. Bears

What a classy act by Coach Sager to have the players put red hockey tape on their sticks and pads. If you noticed he also wore a RED tie and the coaching staff wore red ribbons in memory of Gundy.

just because you don't like the coach doesn't mean that you have to not like the team. Come on GFD i thought you were a better fan than that
