I wasn't really really serious with wanting to have all privates being forced in to playing AA. Of course all the private schools arent going to share the same success rates in hockey. There is going to be inequities in the tourney and the system year in and year out. I dont think there is any clear cut way to fix that. Benilde for example enjoyed huge success and within a few years stepped up and never looked back. This of course may not happen with all the other schools that could try opting up. But they could try and if it doesn't work out the same, they could opt back. I do have more respect for the likes of Hill and Benilde. Other than that, Im just looking forward to watching great hockey come every March.

score to make it 11-1 with 10 seconds to go

serious review to be done here

Are you kidding? This is the boy's state hockey tournament, not a girls scout contest. Take your crying about class elsewhere. What would you want the coach to do, tell his kids to let New Ulm score? Breck pulled their starting goalie and top lines at the end of the second period. They were playing 4 lines most of the game. It didn't matter. The fact is, New Ulm was plain terrible. It's a shame too because the game wasn't indicative of the quality of hockey played in class A. There were plenty of other class A teams not playing in the tournament that would have also destroyed New Ulm.
