I guess you're right, but if I was a betting man . . .
I'll just say he's not in it for his health. Don't get wrong. He shouldn't do it for free. BM does it for two reasons: Ego and money. Most of us do. The difference is, most of us don't do it on the backs of 11-year-olds. I'll take my hat off to him. He's the king. Everyone else just plays catch up.
LMAO, so your saying no one should charge a fee for providing a product or service to children! How dare piano teachers charge for teaching my daughter to play the piano, she is only 11! Gymnastics?? What, its not free to train and get instruction and participate in competitions?? Oh my, they charge there too!
I think it is great. If you don't want to be apart of it, DON"T! Let people spend their money as they see fit!

Apparently you didn't read my post. Bernie doesn't remind me of my kid's piano teacher. His piano teacher isn't sponsored. Maybe she's not good enough. She doesn't form leagues to try out.
I said he shouldn't do it for free. I also said he was the king and everyone else plays catch up. Before blowing your stack, read the whole post. Now get back to work. Bernie needs the bathrooms mopped.

I read the whole post. Perhaps your compliments didn't come off as sincere. Not sure why.

So you're hd41 and pylon?????
Or are you pylon's representation?
You and Irish dating now? I guess chivalry is not dead in st francis.
most of us don't do it on the backs of 11-year-olds.
Seems to be pretty clear to me. You flat out suggested that making money off 11 year old kids is wrong. Perhaps you didn't intend it to be understood that way but that is how it comes across to me. I am all done mopping, i am going to scrub the toilets then take a nap.

Bernie has figured out that there is no way he would lose in court.
Walser will be the first Tier 1 team of it's kind in Minnesota. No need now for the Fire.
The change has begun.............. Please don't shoot the messenger.

Like I said...
Will USA Hockey enter into a no win situation?
What if.... huge longshot I know, but, what if....we're all wrong about this Walser thing and it really isn't Tier 1 hockey? Then what? Where are the disenfranchised and underserved going to go?

Hey ..could be.. Maybe Scrapiron is pulling our collective legs. If so
Good for him.. If not ..We'll see
I know Bernie was not happy with the way things went at the Subway this year. Could be he's just looking for commitment, However, I for one, will not discount the fact that for all practicable purposes he won a federal anti trust law suit. That means USA hockey is in the same boat as District 6. No monopolies allowed.
If I was in his place I would start a lot more than a team...

Bernie is looking good in the lawsuit, but it will not result in a stripping of USAh's monopoly status as a national governing body. There is nothing in the lawsuit that will force USAh or MNh to play a Bernie team.

I'm not a laywer. It's just my opinion. I do know that it is a Federal anti trust law suit. Whatever the decision is it will affect the Nation, not just Minnesota. How is the fact that you can't play with the made and district 6 any different than you can't play for The made and USA hockey ?
If the suit says district 6 cannot punish players for playing with the made, (Monopoly) Then to me it looks like USA hockey has to follow the rule set down in the Federal court.

Any Lawyers out there?
Bernie's legal team knows that USA Hockey would't be dumb enough after the D6 fiasco. It opened the floodgates and there's no return'
Look for them to grant status or be on the national news for backing a totalitarian governing body.

I will fly up to catch the inagural Car Wars event with Walser Automotive Group versus Victory Honda at every age group.
First program to win three games gets the Bronzed Tire, as well as the opportunity for their salesmen to tout the dealership's involvement in the community.

Car wars? I like it..... especially the "Bronzed Tire" award
Bo and I will meet you when you fly up. Be sure to wear your clown suit so we can recognize you.

Get Belle Tire to sponsor the trophy and Little Ceasars to provide pizza and we will have a party.
Honeybaked Ham trumps that cruddy pizza any day. And if you haven't tried it, they somehow make their turkey taste like ham. (Big for me considering I don't usually care for turkey.)
