I honestly don't think Burnsville has a shot at beating Duluth East. I have watched them play 3 times this year, and they are way too inconsistent- defensively, goaltending, and scoring. They are capable of staying with DE for 1, maybe 2 periods, and that's it. No knock on the Blaze, they are a very good team, probably somewhere ranked 8-10 in the state.tonkafan77 wrote:Duluth East has yet to play a top 10 team and Minnetonka has only played one. They could be in for a wake up call during their first couple games on their way to the championship. Burnsville definitely has the ability of coming out and winning that first game against East and Edina definitely has the chance of knocking off Tonka as well in the semis. Both Burnsville and Edina have had very strong schedules to start the year and are used to the intense competition already. Should be a very interesting Monday and Tuesday to see who can make it all the way.
Edina on the other hand does have a chance with Minnetonka. I am not convinced that Minnetonka's goalies have been truly tested, yet.
