We simply have to look back at the "straw poll" to see where the problems comes up.erpresident wrote:D10 has enough AA teams to have a split league. It all comes down to if MNH comes in with totalitarian force and makes associations play at certain levels.

Then they should split - unless they have only a couple A teamserpresident wrote:D10 has enough AA teams to have a split league. Bo: Very interesting idea about allowing Private high schools to form their own youth associations. They are basically doing that at Bantams by taking over existing associations. But I think the Private schools aren't interested in development Mite, Squirt players within their own association. They would rather let all of the other metro associations do the development, then recruit the kids they want as Bantams.

I actally can imaging some districts not having enough A teams to split a league unless the big associations do the AA/A, district 2 for example is almost all AA high schools (without Mahtomedi who may opt up).
NSP AA?, Tartan AA?, Forest Lake AA/B1, Mounds View AA/B1, WBL AA/?, Stillwater AA/?, Highland ?, Roseville AA, Mahtomedi A?
Fact is there will be very few A teams in this district so no chance to split unless someone opts down and some go AA/A even then it would be a small group causing lots more travel to get competition outside the district. Might get some of the wisco teams during regular season Hudson, New Richmond, Sommerset etc... who only had B teams last year
OG did district 2 have a discussion about this?
