Here is the rosters for the USHL teams, might give us an idea who has left. Some I guess could do before and after, but for some like Bischel I would imagine he is gone since he is a goalie.
I really got no idea what it means regarding coming back or not, but here is the list so somebody smarter than me can perhaps explain.
Hank Sorensen not on Waterloo roster? Any info on that?
Was sent packing for another violation. Let's hope he gets the help he needs.

Let's also hope some kid who will appreciate the privilege gets on Waterloo.

Have seen Bushy play for Dubuque and he fits in very well. As far as USHL goes, the list of gone players should include Mason Palmer who would be a senior at Wayzata. I know he had been at Shattuck, but don't know if we are looking at MN kids or just the ones who played HS last year. Mikey Anderson as well, but he played USHL last year too. (Note, Scott Reedy, Grant Mishmash and Nate Knoepke would also be seniors this year in MN hockey if still around). On Sorenson, I would think he would be gone regardless? The USHL protected list (https://portal.usahockey.com/tool/publi ... niors/ushl) has him as a June 98 birthday. Wouldn't that have made him a senior last year? Or was he held back? On the protected list as "for sure" coming back I only count Casey Mittelstadt (Green Bay/EP), Ben Meyers (Fargo/Delano) and Peter Tabor (Waterloo/Holy Family). Assuming Micah Miller (Sioux City/Grand Rapids) coming back as well but he is protected. Of course Matt Anderson (Green Bay/Holy Family) also, but he is (for some odd reason) not protected. Are there other kids who aren't protected playing USHL and coming back to HS? Was also wondering about 2 other kids on the protected list: Tom Sagissor (Madison/Stillwater) and Jake Johnson (Sioux Falls/Jefferson). Sagissor is a 99 and may not be playing USHL and is just protected?? Johnson is an August 98 birthday - did he graduate this past year?

Surprising.
Be interesting to see how it works out.
They usually only include kids that played HS last year or bantam kids that played in MN last year that would be playing HS. In regards to some of your questions:
1) Sorenson would've been a senior.
2) TJ Sagissor is a senior and will be back
3) Jake Johnson graduated from Jefferson last year.
Thanks BP. Is Micah Miller playing USHL this fall and then back to Grand Rapids? Also, are there other kids playing USHL and coming back who are not protected? Q. not just for BP but anyone who knows...

Was at Sioux Falls game on Oct. 14. Bushy getting pretty regular shifts I thought and didn't stick out as struggling.

Micah is going back to GR, that is the plan. But, every year, seems one kid decides to stay in USHL. I think all the kids that you listed are planning on going back, but you never know. Heard Ben Meyers is wavering, but let's hope he's back to give a run at state for his Delano squad. The one that makes me think a bit is Matt Anderson, but, I assume he'll be back as well.
