No more pencils,no more books......

I am impressed that some are starting to come around to the idea that I have been advocating for quite some time.....get the sport away from the schools!<br><br>Kids can go to whatever school they want and play for their community.<br>They can get the "best" education available and we can end all of this angst about open enrollment. <br><br>If that happened, I wonder what the effect on open enrolment numbers would be? It seems like there is alot of angst over maybe 400 kids that open enroll every year in the state of Minnesota- an average size school has maybe 1500 athletes a year. We are suggesting that an entire system is gutted and replaced by an alternative for a very small number of athletes that actually open enroll. The numbers aren't there in my mind for a system overhaul. <p></p><i></i>
