First off, the lengthy rain delay gave me a chance to watch the game, a big thanks to Mom Nature for that one.

Secondly, I did get the AFLAC trivia question right last night. What rookie Twins closer had 20 some saves in 1980?

Thirdly, Livantana and Cargorii's efforts were greatly appreciated as they do their part to start a fresh row of hammers.

Finally, more beautiful weather for the Twins in Chicago. Today is looking like another dandy, break out the thong if you'll be in the bleachers today.

I'm pretty sure it was a general sentiment toward the female attendee's and not current bored members, unless DMom is tuning in.....

I've found a long lost brother of the 2005 & 2007 Twins, the 2008 Sox.

After torching the Blue Jays for 5 runs over 4 games on the weekend, the Sox erupted for 7 runs in one game only to follow it up with;

Speaking of brothers. Which one of these guys is Travis Hafner and which one is Javier Bardem, the pyscho killer in No Country for Old Men

To Twins fans, does it matter?

If you dont know, just flip a coin.

Earlier this season I was watching an Indians game and the announcers were discussing what any man with small hands wants discussed about him on TV. These guys couldn't get over how small Travis Hafner's hands were. Based on the paw that is clutching that King of Beers, Hafner has to be in the top photo.

SI has done something kind of interesting. They have a list of the "Best Baseball Players By Jersey Number". I got a real kick out of #50 in particular.

Here's the full list: 0-22, 23-46, 47-99.

It's a good time killer at work if nothing else.

No. 57 | Francisco Rodriguez
Runner-up: Johan Santana

Rodriguez over Santana :?:

I was going to nominate Lawton for the #50 spot. Wasn't Rich Becker #25? Where is he on this bogus list?

I saw Jim Edmonds was released today. Too bad our outfield is stacked. :?

Mike Lamb watch:
.235 AVG, .250 OBP, 98 AB, 6 R, 23 H, 0 HR, 13 RBI, 29 TB, .933 FP

Got back from NY, wow they have some nice stadiums out there and both are getting torn down for even nicer ones. Go figure...

Thanks Govs,

It did seem obvious to me...
Career journeyman over a future HOF pitcher...
They were voting for individuals, not teams, right... :?:

Sorry Shanty, doesn't fit...

Don't stop scoring.

I'm glad they don't play these guys 19 times.

Who's the career journeyman?

A) September 24, 1998: Signed by the Anaheim Angels as an amateur free agent.

or

B) July 2, 1995: Signed by the Houston Astros as an amateur free agent.

December 13, 1999: Drafted by the Florida Marlins from the Houston Astros in the 1999 Rule 5 Draft.

December 13, 1999: Traded by the Florida Marlins with cash to the Minnesota Twins for Jared Camps.

January 29, 2008: Traded by the Minnesota Twins to the New York Mets for Carlos Gomez, Philip Humber, Deolis Guerra, and Kevin Mulvey.

I do think that Santana is the better choice for the Best Player for #57 over K-Rod, just wondering who the "career journeyman" and the "future HOF pitcher" is.

Cancel that last order, you can't outscore 'em, you need to outdefend them.

Oh Craig Monroe... you make me yearn to see what Frankie T would do here.
