GMC tonight lol. Redwood played well. Had a bad stretch of about 4 minutes that ended up sinking them. Domeier has definitely had better defensive help this year too.

Litch beat Marshall with a breakaway buzzer beater by Pederson with 1.8 seconds left. 6-5 final Marshall played a good game. Goaltending on both sides was pretty shaky. Not sure what the shots were.

What a game in Litchfield tonight. LDC from puck drop proved to be the better team. Marshall proved to be a team that didn't want to lose, opportunistic to say the least. And what culminated was some kind of back and forth hockey game. It was less forth and more back for Marshall, and vice versa for LDC, except on the score board. Not sure what shots were but I can only imagine they were a lot to a little, consider attempts and the margin grows. 1-0 LDC early. 1-1 end of 1. 2-1 Marshall, 3-1 Marshall, timeout LDC, 3-2 off ensuing faceoff. 4-2 Marshall end of 2. 4-3 Marshall, 4-4, 5-4 Marshall 3:00 to go, 5-5, 6-5 LDC 1.8 seconds left. LDC knows how to play, and even has a few kids that really know how to play, far and away the best defenseman in the section. Marshall is trying to know, and started by learning not to lose, almost. That building was bursting with the passion for the game tonight. Its a beautiful thing. The beauty continues Saturday and I look forward to enjoying it. I love the tourney in March, but the tourney(s) in February is its own thing. Enjoy the beauty, then leave the ugly anywhere but here 3A forum contributors.
