Hey PB...who do you really like as a team....any Catholic program, lowly SSP or someone else. Or are you the typical Shyster and bend whichever way it suits YOU best.
1. Somewhere along this thread you seem to have become angry. Why?
2. Are you painting all Catholic priests with the same brush? If you are, then shame on you. That's like shunning your brothers and sisters because of something a distant cousin has done.
3. Packerboy seems to think Catholic schools are better. Do you want credit for the idea? While public schools have been around long before you were born, so, too, have people have been paying to send their kids to Catholic school. Without you to tell them, still they must have thought Catholic schools were better.
4. Or do you think public schools are just as good or better than Catholic schools? Then let's have vouchers, which allow every kid to go to any school where they feel they have the brightest future. Nothing to fear since nobody would leave if the public schools were really better. No surprise here; the public school crowd is dead set against vouchers!
5. We are having fun, because Lent is coming whether you like it or not. Nearly all the Catholic schools will be there (facing the less than 5% of public school teams who will make it to State). It would be difficult for kids these days to even find a Catholic school that didn't make it to State while they were there; bonus, they are GUARANTEED a faith-based education!

Also, if the Miss Minnesota you suggested earlier is someone you know, is she not the same person with a musical career (mostly TC area). Jazz, if I remember right.

Ankles,
Did my above post { # 6,161 } satisfy your curiosity?

The Priesthood is angry, too, and detests the sins of the minority, like you do.
The sinners cannot separate Jesus from the Priesthood of which 99.9% are unfairly stigmatized.
Slappy's right that the best Priests are hockey players... the rest are fans!
Some Priests made great "enforcers" in their hockey days!
BTW... Not only is judging okay, but it's required. Anger is okay, too.
Throwing stones (wishing another ill) is where the line gets crossed.
All Catholics are angry about what has happened, Slappy, but it's not the Pope, the Church, doctrine, or each other where we should be directing our anger.

What drives you to post more than anyone else? What drove you to play hockey at the level you did? Because of your conservative Catholic upbringing, you think it is a sin to let anyone do more than you.
It’s no surprise that the areas that are having the most trouble are Liberal hotbeds. A liberal Priest or Bishop may still be a good man, but he has no idea how to fight this kind of evil. He confuses “not casting stones” with not holding people accountable (not the types of Priests you or I would want as linesmates).

My education is not limited in catechism or doctrin distributed by Rome.
The Testament of OLD and NEW is the pearl that I found,
I had to remain very still, to pick up on it's sound.
Spent several years in study, giving all I had to learn it.
The knowledge there that lies within, 's a gift and you don't earn it!
I never noticed Catholics, running round throughout!
This life is there for everyone, in that I never doubt.
My finger tips are drivin', deep into the night.
In hopes that someday everyone will step into the light!
Why get hung up on labels, like public/private schools?
When it comes to HOCKEY, don't be like pompous fools!
Now unveils a difference, 'tween many and the SHTER,
Who ever thought at Minnhock,
he'd "preach" through his computer?
You see Ankles?
If your Bishop or Priest was led by Scripture and not politics,
His Lord would lead him to victory just like he did with the SON, and every prophet who came before.
If the Almighty is with you, who can stand against you?
LIBERAL/CONSERVATIVE blah blah blah....
All that's PASSE
"SPIRIT" is neither Liberal nor Conservative.
And the Christ proclaimed that "God is a SPIRIT" !
And if we are made in the image and likeness of him/us/our,
Then what essentially are we?
Genesis 1:26 And God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness": etc etc...
