They don't need to be droped out..i was just say AL beat them. To me it seems no one is puting AL in the top 10 and to have Denfield in there and west when AL beat both is just absurd.

Slap, agree that AL should be up in the top ten, but how do you put them in front of Lourdes who beat AL 5-1. Using the logic you used to put AL above West and Denfeld, shouldn't Lourdes be 8th. Oops, Lourdes got killed by Denfeld, now what do you do. What I am getting at is this does not really matter as their are a lot of very good teams that are so close together in talent that they can beat each other any night.

Agree with you davey basically everyone is close in talent level probably from #3 all they way down to #15 maybe even down to #20. Just like the triangle theory Lourdes beats AL, Denfeld beats Lourdes, AL beats Denfeld. I put AL on top because they played better hockey in that tournament. They have also played well since. Lourdes has also been playing well recently knocking off Blake and Breck. Too bad they only meet once in the year.

This is a very close field and were only halfway through the year.

Denfeld has a tougher schedule but their only big win is against Lourdes and I am wondering how they won by such a large margin.
Just so you know, I by no means have West at the top, but I don't think they've dropped out of the top 10

Wow..we don't agree often but OK; I'll buy that...in fact, you could probably mix them around anyway you want and still be alright. 8)

I will say I Falls is #1 after a hard fought win against Denfeld on the road.

You don't have to guess, the name and address are right there with the post.
:D

The cities has STA (#4 thats pretty high considering 8-2) and a couple of others - good teams.
The south has - Section 1 - some good teams.

Probably fill out the #11 - 15 spot with them before we throw some more north teams in there.

The only way I. Falls sees the ice @ the Xcel in March is from the stands - no way can they be the #1 A team in the state. The record looks gaudy, but I would put the Toppers, Warriors, and Cadets in front of them easily. Time will tell.

AY, that's why rankings don't determine the state or section champ. I agree, I. Falls won't be in St. Paul in March. However, they deserve to be #1 in the polls right now.

The Falls hasn't lost to a single Minnesotan team (and they've actually played some good ones). DM just lost to Warroad. Warroad lost to Mound. And we all know what happened in the DM/STA game.

That's why I would put the Falls at #1 right now.

There will be six or seven teams in St. Paul in March that could win it in class A. There should be a lot of tight games.

6 or 7? Who?
I see three teams in March that could win it.
Whoever gets out of 7A
STA
Warroad
I dont think im forgetting anyone but i dont think there are any other teams that have a good chance of winning 3 straight.

Looking at scores this year it just looks like there isnt that one or two dominant teams. I agree that sta and marshall are the front runners but a team like warroad doesnt seem much better than teams ranked 4-10. I obviously havent seen all those teams play but just scoreboard watchin.
