You missed a few players who have 20 points! Might want to fix the break down

Complete League Stats

The PPG stat is probably a good measuring stick, but it's not totally accurate. There are players that I know of on the list that have missed games that aren't reflected in their "games played."

Don't sweat the small stuff.
It's all small stuff.

Although it's possible they do it like that, those that played more games and have more points still lead the league IMO
No different then a running back that leads in yds per carry but but doesn't have as many carries etc.....
Compiled them myself. I disagree with the running back analogy though, as I'd much rather have a running back with 1000 yards in 11 games than a running back with 1200 yards in 16 games. Your analogy only works if I calculated points per TOI... which is a bit beyond my scope.

Total points versus average points is a personal preference thing. Some will like it better my way, some won't, and I'm comfortable with that. :)
The leader is the leader is all I'm saying if 33 points is the leader then 33 it is, not 27 looked at a different way.
EO you know I'm not putting anyone down on this as they are all fantastic players, and I know you know that as well

Back to this running back thing.. so if a player has 2400 yds played all games had more carries and the most yds in the league he's not the leader?? because someone had more yds per carry?

What happens to your team when you don't have your running back for 5 games?

Not sure why, but Hanowski's and Crandall's points stick out to me. Selfish vs. selfless or players of circumstance?
Your reading to much into it.
Could be, I had a three martini lunch today :D

Some very good games today @ New Hope.
SW wins the ship 3-1 (eng) over NW in a good battle.

WI Takes 3rd over North in OT a misplayed puck by the North tender that bounced right back to the WI attacker who put it away! but that was after a beauty of of a defense play by North defensemen by diving out and tipping the puck up and over their empty net just minutes before.
Tough way to lose it but it was an outstanding game!

SE lost to GP
and I believe NE beat Russel Stover.......not sure though :?

What happened to the North East? Too many captains and not enough crew?

Leading Scorer

Post by Penalty Shot »

If you seriously want to use PPG as the indicator to determine ths scoring leader it would be the first time I have ever seen this happen. PPG is a great stat but the leading scorer in the reguler season is Max Tardy because he scored more points than anyone else! Everyone sat games, how are you going to determine who sat against who (strength of schedule etc..., also games played is not completely accurate either I know that stat is off for quite a few players including Tardy. He is listed as playing more games that he played. Congratulations to him.
