You are correct, you can apply for the spot as well as get chosen I believe by the school, if your chosen I do believe well im sure they have the right to deny it as they should. A new coach doesnt always have to be a teacher though in the district, thats what often confuses people at times I believe

Just curious cause I don't know.
Was the previous coach a teacher at either school?
Love4hockey are you a teacher as well?
Just asking cause you seem to know a lot about the process and you said in another post that you knew one of the previuos coaches well, (not sure if it was in this post).
Just asking.

I am not a teacher, im anything but, I just know thats the process for both schools is to look with in the district first for a teacher
