It won't be a sellout. My guess is 3,000 at most.

Lee
Lee, will this game be on KDAL online? If not, I may make the trip.

if this is how you decide who is going to win a game. well then you are on glue!cloquet beats the hounds with ease to become one of the best two teams in the state. besides hill murray.

if you decide to go, whatever you do, don't forget your radio, it just wouldn't be an East game with out John Hack (Hack? that's great on like two levels)

This rivalry is so good FSN should do both games. I can't imagine how good the atmosphere will be at this game. An early hold on #1 seed is on the line. I don't think I've ever been so excited to listen to a game on the radio.

The winner of this game is in the top 2 in the state...with Moorhead, not Hill.

I agree with gr19
This is going to be good one to listen to.
Then Friday FSN.
Then Saturday East/Moorhead.
My kind of weekend.

Either way. . ..

Good game overall. I love my hounds hopefully they plug the lights into the christmas tree they call Ellison. ..
questions. . . .
1. who are captains of East this year?
2. Does that like 6'6'' kid still play for cloquet?
3. Isn't it true that after this game the fans from cloquet will be p!ssed they spent all of the money to make it down to a game just to watch a blow-out?

I love this rivalry, best in State.

That's spelled Ellingson

1. Don't know
2. Not if you are thinking about Vichorek who played defense. They do have a tall forward named Zach Dunaisky
3. No, we haven't seen a good CEC blowout since 2003 when we went up da hounds 6-1 and cruised to a 6-4 win :)

Cloquet usually always as great season but they usually blow it in the sectional final every year and that usually stings every year almost except for 4.

I think if Randolph tries to run his "Spehar" odd man rushes against the Jacks like he did against tonka they will get burned bad. The Jacks have, by far, the best defensive corp in the state.

It's also fun going to this game at the DECC and seeing more Jacks fans than Cake Eaters    :!: :!: :!:

I am definitely a Cloquet fan, but have to disagree on the "Jacks have the best defensive corp in the state" They have a very good goalie, which helps the Defense out a lot, but honestly if Cloquet has a low point, it is there defense. They do not have a lot of depth at the point this year, especially compared to years in the past.

Should be a dang good game...gotta pull for Cloquet in this one. As for Cloquet, they have 2 great lines and a solid one for their 3rd line. There Dmen are quick and solid as well an good coaching and goaltending is a plus. im excited for this one.

I agree with xdasher Riley Roe is due for a couple goal game. This kid has tons of talent, but has been in TJ's shadow. He never really gets the credit he deserves. Also, he is the best penalty killer the Jacks have.

I'm still sticking with my prediction:

Jacks - 4

Cake Eaters - 1

Easts captains are:
Ben Leis Sr. G
Colin Trachsel Sr. D
Will McLean Sr. W
All played in the Elite league and are solid players, should be a great game tonite!
