Holy Angels
Holy angels is a good team and definately will be in the top 10 to 15. Coming off a state championship though they have already reached the top and that puts pressure on the next year. My top ten is based more of the Bantam A and Junior Gold A rankings from this past year.

Kinks like defense and not able to put games away
Basically E.P. depending on who they play has had its ups and downs over the season yet very strong. Clearly they havent been the favorite but in the top 5 at least. They arent as dominate as in years past or in this season as there were but they still have a solid club. They dominate some games yet...

The main event is Jefferson vs. Edina
Its home ice advantage for the Jags why not have the game at 7:30. With Jefferson being the top dog they should find out who they would play in the section finals first and then play there game. Your just underestimating the importance of this game and looking past it. Also Jefferson is probobly afr...

This section is a 4 horse race
Anyone of the four could take it. Jefferson is the favorite obviously but E.P. tied then so that is close. Jefferson and Wayzata split there series so that could go either way. Wayzata against E.P. will be an equally matched series. E.P. won a close battle in OT and then dominated Edina in the secon...

Game time
They should switch the times of the two semi final game and have Wayzata vs. E.P. first and then have the main event start at 7:30. That would make more sense in getting more people to attend the games. They would make much more money that way.

Gopher Hockey and NCAA Tournament
Whats everyones thoughs about the Gopher this year? I think they will end up winning the WCHA again and getting a number 1 seed in there region. Although it wouldn't matter what there seed because they host the midwest regional and would have home ice advantage for the first two rounds. I doubt they...

Flynn getting offer
They knew they wanted Flynn before the tryouts. How could they not. The fact that he was injured didn't change that.

Desire to win and coaching
The desire of a team to be successful is why a team wins. A good coach needs to make his players have that desire. The coach is just a teacher really. Teams also need to have a leader for the team follow. If there is talent and no leader the team will fall apart. Coaches cant determine the outcome o...

What makes you think Giles will leave?
If Giles leaves maybe but anything could happen. Coaching is only a small part of a teams success. Why would Chapman want to leave Centennial after they won state? Maybe he knows that Edina is the only team that actually stands a chance. I doubt either coach will go anywhere but I could be wrong. <p...

Centennial
They will win state no one even has a chance against them. Edina peaked early and that was its down fall and theres was no real leader on the team anyway. No one else will beat Centennial this year.

Best and Worst Arena in State?
Not including the big ones like the Xcel, Mariucci, Decc.

I'd say the best would be bloomington ice garden, st. louis park rec center, grand rapids, and braemar. I can't think of a bad one. I'll say this though, E.P. has to get a bigger arena because the one there in just doesn't cut it. It w...

One class state tourney system
It's just like the BCS crappolla. Two champions but only one that deserves it. They should just have a 10 round 96 team playoffs to determine the winner regardless of class. Divide it into 12 regions with 8 teams each. The first three rounds would take place at the highest seed. The second three rou...

1974 Edina Hornets: Greatest H.S. Hockey team ever
Ok for those who want historical info just look at the 74' season. Will Ikola being the coach was probobly one of the best h.s. hockey coaches of all time. That year they pretty much dominated every team they played. In the state semi-finals they were trailing SIbley who upened defending champ Hibbi...
