Re: when born

I wonder whether Mrs. Obama looked at the previous 43 presidents and came to some conclusion about her son's chances to be in the White House.

Point: poor example #-o

[quote=". There are some good players floundering in rotten associations who would jump at the chance to get together on a good AAA Club(s) for winter hockey. It will eventually happen...When? I'm not sure.[/quote]

That is a crappy phrase, with all due respect.

Fair Play at A Squirts

Go Wild.

Fair Play at A Squirts

hsticks - you are missing a big point. You said, " The topic of the thread is fair play at the "A" level" - wrong, the poster was talking about SQUIRTs. That is the difference. The experienced coaches recognizes that it is not as dire for the 9 and 10 year old, as you seem to thi...

I hope you didn't take your kid to Take Your Kid to Work day - it would be so sad for him/her to know that they could never be anything more than you are.

Just for the record, I have all the faith in the world that your kid, like any kid, can be whatever they set their mind and efforts to.

It will be interesting to see how Hill finishes out the year. What do you think - was he playing poorly because he wasn't getting the ice time, or was he not getting the ice time because he was playing poorly? Legit question.

Say you get your Tier 1, now your hockey season extends (obviously \:D/ ) so - What happens to your spring sport? Gone! Tier 1 hockey is single sport mentality. What does over 99% of the pro athletes (and doctors) say - especially, when the player hasn't even gone through puberty - Do Not Specialize...

Oh, if only my kid could wear such an ugly jersey in the state tournament. Yeah, I would complain for sure.

I should also add - a parent who "gets it as well." Thanks to all of the volunteer coaches out there and the parents who support those who "get it." Both are valuable.
