gov78, Ep was actually seeded higher than Hopkins, which shows they were the better team.

Junior Gold, I do agree with you that BSM will most likely win this game, but I highly disagree with you saying that Leddy has no physical presence. I watched him play in a few elite games and the game they played against Eagan on TV and I saw him lay some major hits.

Trinitron, it makes you sound somewhat jealous when you talk about Eden Prairie like that, just so you know. Also, I could be wrond but when that delay of game was called the net was not even knocked off, it was due to a player on EP picking the puck up and throwing it, so I do not know if you were ...

The news paper completely over-exaggerated this from what I have heard. Supposedly only 10 or so kids walked out.

Hipztech, did you ever think that maybe they were in the defensive zone and Leddy, being a smart player, realized that it would be better for him to stay in the game and try to do as much as he can, rather than get off the ice and give LS a 5 on 3 oppurtunity? You have to think through a highschoole...

I highly doubt that is an EP fan breakout. No EP fan would rip on Leddy.

First off petern3, Coon Rapids is in the Northwest Suburban conference, and second of all, that kid is not even the leading scorer on his team and you say he has no team to back him up....... right...

Breakout: I have heard similar things to what you just said. I heard that JT was playing like a punk out there just slashing everyone. And then I heard that after the face off at the end of the game he gave an EP player, I think it was number 10, Soderberg?, a little punch in the face and that is wh...

Yeah that is where I am confused too. My only guess is that he realizes that it is a non-conferance game, and he was trying to get his young guys some playing time against the best in the state so when playoffs come around they are more experienced and know what to expect.

You are right, but what you say does not change how the coach decided to play the game last night. It seemed that EP played all of their 4 lines equally, which no one understands why.

Yes I agree and think that it was smart to play younger players more. Its a non-conferance game against a very good team. Its a good way to prepare the sophmores for later on in the year when it matters.

The Hornets out played the Eagles. To me it didn't seem like Eps coaches were playing to win. They had their back up goalie in and played their fourth line a lot. Doesn't seem like the time to get kids some playing time. It clearly made a difference in the game. I was at this game as a neutral fan ...
