Eden Prairie (9-3) @ Minnetonka (11-2) 1-10-07

Post by HShockeywatcher »

The Eagles travel a few miles down the road to play the Skippers tonight to play their 4th of 5 non-conference games this season. EP has played one home game thus far and is 8-3 on the road this season. Tonka has played mostly away games as well, only 4 at home, where they are 4-0, but they are coming off a loss to Hopkins.

Gotta go with the Skippers on home ice. Gardiner and Co. should be inspired to get back on the winning track.

Both teams have very good D cores. Neither is blessed with high power forwards. Should be a good battle. Goalies will be the difference makers.

Tonka going with the Senior or Sophomore?

Have to go with Mtka on this one. The combination of home ice and something to prove after last weekend's loss will be the difference. If they stick to their rotation it's Kruger turn in the net and he won't let them down.

Must have been a great game? How was the overall play by both teams?
Did one team control the play or was it pretty evenly matched???

A big win for the Skips, that will help out when the section seedings are decided.

By the way, Lucia was in the house tonight. Sure wish he'd steal Gardiner away to Minnesota!
