3-2 alex hemmingway is gonna be unbelieveable around 35 saves like against FF And as far as this one goes...He did not make one difficult save. Hemmingway is a very good goalie, but he saw every shot that came his way against FF. No traffic, no tips and even the 2 goals he let in weren't terribly t...

Goldy, you may be right, but you may be a bit premature with your assertion. Let's say in Section 7, Hibbing beats Marshall; in 8, EGF beats Warroad; and in 4, somebody beats STA. Then who will your top 4 seeds be? My point is that wait until the field is set to start picking seeds. AY 8) You are c...

Yes, two quick goals, and too many stupid penalties. Once again, by the infamous Torin Gaffke. This game could've easily been a 6-0 game, but Lofquist stood on his head for the entire second period and of the 3 goals allowed by him 1 was a result of a flukey bad bounce off the endboards, and one was...

If Hadland plays the Otters lose big. I feel bad saying it, cuz he's really a great kid and if was a bit bigger he could be a really good 'tender. He's a butterfly goalie and gives up 3/4 of the net when he goes down. I think the only way that Chris plays though is if Lofquist get's injured or there...

Not even close game. Small Falls 8 it’s a reality for them and a far fetch dream for St. Cloud. Apollo 2 With a bunch of penalties, clean out your lockers as long it’s your home arena. Convenient? Fergus Falls 6 you will see body work done here and not in the parking lot. Alexandria 2 down to two W...

haha, I knew I'd get ripped for this. But notice how I never said that Lofquist is the best. I haven't seen hampton play, but numbers-wise he seems like a solid goalie. I haven't been impressed w/ Spearl in the times that I've seen him play this year. What I was getting at when I said that Lofquist ...

Re: scores
St. Cloud Apollo will keep it closer than a few goals...and I wouldn't be surprised with an upset...... Fergus Falls v Alexandria:........who's got the straws or dice........close either way, Otters playing sharp, Cardinals playing tough, expect a close, physical and exciting game, ...........timin...

and Bemidji beat fergus 8-1 and alex beat bemidji 5-1 and little falls beat alex That's why I said it means diddly... Just another note, Cody Peck is, I believe, only 3 points from tying the season record for points in a season for Fergus Falls. 64 points, a mark set by Greg Buckmeir in 92-93, and ...

Brian Sawtell had 3 assists for the Otters tonight as well. DL is not good to put it politely. The only thing they had going for them was Tanner Lane who as a freshman is already looking to be one of the top players in 6a in the next few years. Vavricka was all over the place and had no control over...

In '02 when FF played TG the otters SHOULD have won that game, they outshot TG by close to a 3-1 margin and if it wasn't for 2 fluky goals that came from OUTSIDE THE BLUE LINE they would've won. Tyler Ness, the goalie at that time for the Otters completely choked. Coulda woulda shoulda, I know. The...

Not a bad weekend for the Otters. Dominated Mound Westonka 7-2 and they're not a bad team as they've beaten teams like Lourdes and Orono. Brian Sawtell had a goal and 3 assists and has been playing well since being bumped up to the 1st line and Cody Peck notched the hattrick. They did fall to Orono ...

Re: 6a
Read, and read carefully guys..........You know, the champion of the Central Lakes Conference SHOULD have high expectations, even a championship, beating teams the way they have been......not drunk, sorry, didn' t know that that the CLC was a powderpuff league. I mean its no Marriucci or IR but sti...

By the way your precious otters lost to DL 2-1 early in the season so if I wouldn't be to confident if I were you   Personally, I don't think you can take into account ANY games that were played in the 1st week of the season for any teams. I think that the FF/DL game will be close and a g...

Re: 6a
Them Hano boys from Little Falls do have high stats because of the style they play, but it is likely because of them that Little Falls plays that style. No one can argue, I mean, Fergus Falls wouldn't have lost to Little Falls if it weren't for the rapid fire goals they score especially short hande...

wow, ok... Once again, I said that Hanowski is a very very good player, great even. That being said, the Little Falls Flyers, from squirts all the way up to HS play the same way. In the defensive zone, once they get the puck the fly a guy and go for the big play time and time again. It works, they ...

Re: game
Fergus Falls probably plays more physical beause of who they grow up playing against. ....just a thought ie: up north..........we ain't inside the metro you know...... Very very true, growing up FF players play against teams like Roseau, Moorhead, Warroad, Bemidji, etc...Personally, I think it's an...

1 - I never said I'm a god of anything...and I don't see why how many number of posts you have indicates how much you know about hockey. 2 - As far as the Patriots reference goes, all I was getting at was that it was similar. Who cares if I'm comparing apples to oranges? It's still slightly alike. Y...

Little Falls Flyers: Long winning streak Just barely squeaking by w/ wins against sub-par teams coming down the stretch. Remind anybody of anything??? New England Patriots perhaps??? I'm just saying, think about it. Little Falls, as much as I hate to say it is far and away the best team in 6a this y...
