#4 Eden Praire, 4 #16 Jefferson, 3 The score doesn't tell the game at all. The refs dropped the puck in the wrong place twice, once nothing happened, the other time Eden Praire scored right off the draw (it should have been in their end). Then Eden Praire scored with 8.5 seconds left to win. did # ...

I do believe that Marshall has all the demographics of a forward. I believe that is where he will play for the Gophs. As far as Ness, I see him as a Defensman through and through. Whatever happened to the days that Freshman were 18 years old anyway. I think that Juniors should be used for the guys t...

As far as Wilcox's future. I would be very surprised to see him come back next year. The only reason I think he ever would is for the opportunity to play football for one more year. Seeing as though Al Stalock (Wilcox's cousin) surpassed his senior year to go to juniors, the family is looking at tha...

Thank you!!! Looks like Forconi played one year of Juniors for Sioux Falls. That Greenway team was a solid hockey team. Too bad they didnt pull it off that year.

Wasn't that Cory Carlson; Two Harbors transfer your thinking of? He was another strong player on that team, and I actually totally forgot about him, but there was another guy. He was really big, like maybe 6'3" or something and played with Guyer on a line (in state anyway). I am almost positiv...

After some further research, I will have to say that Moorhead takes this one home. They currently have 7 runner up finishes without a championship. That is 4 more than Warroad who has been the runner up 3 times and SSP has 2 runner up finishes. BTW, White bear lake has had 17 appearances with: 1st P...

I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I was having a discussion about the Greenway team of 02 and I remember the obvious ones of Guyer and Sertich, but there was a third guy on that team that was a solid player. A real big guy, and I think he wore #22 or something. Does anybody know who that ...

Without a doubt, the old Golden Valley ice center. All concrete around boards, no give and about 6 inches higher than normal boards. Plus not a 220 by 65 foot rink. Are you saying that 220 by 65 foot rinks are normal???????? Last time I checked an ice rink was 200 by 85, and Olympic size is 200 by ...

I would have to say that it is between So. St. Paul and Moorhead. White Bear has made it there on a number of occassions, but im not so sure that they have ever come extremely close to winning it all. South St Paul lost a 1-0 game in the Championship when Woog was there, and the year that everyone o...

How about we put an end to the Chisago talk and how good they are. If you are a halfway decent TEAM then you would have put up a little better fight than 1-9. It sounds to me like you have a typical team that doesnt have an A Bantam team. You probably have a couple of stellar kids on the team that y...

I forwarded this to every hockey parent i know. Good article. As for the person talking about hand signs and whatnot. Get a clue. Thats ridiculous. If you want that much to do with whats going on, then coach a team that your son/ daughter isnt on. Please stop doing this for the sanity of your child....

mikeanderson, to answer your question on how to control penalties, i will say that everything in the game of hockey is always situational, and by no means am I an expert on this, but in my mind hockey players are molded by habit. If Player X has a habit of entering the corner to hit someone with his...

I like the fact that we are changing gears here mikeanderson. I see a multitude of talent with this current team and would love to see it put to use. The thing that scares me and you have mentioned this is the fact that we can beat up on the weak teams with similar scores that the big boys do, but w...

derekanderson. Some good insight there. Here is what I have seen out of the Packers the past 10 years, and this year is no different, and although we would all love to see it change with the snap of a finger, its not going to. I have probably seen half the games played by the Pack in the past 10 yea...

First of all, when a kid watches the Wild play on TV on and every time they do a close up of a player or a coach they are dropping the F Bomb on somebody. It may be at the ref, it may be at a coach, or more than likely at another player. This is where kids get the idea. I have seen this on numerous ...

I truly think that Eagan Blue should be included in this discussion as they have gone 16-0 in District play and swept away the competition in a very strong District tournment. They have a couple of players that can really take over a game, and the rest of their lineup is very solid. #15 looks like h...

It looks to me that they need to put these teams into a different district. They have a couple B2 teams in the mix and Im sure that the reasoning for the way that they set it up was to avoid the 15-0 games that could happen by a Duluth East vs. a B2 team. Looks to me like they will have 2 of the 3 R...
