White Bear put up three goals against the Pioneers during the Schwans Cup... Just like the Bears to take credit for something they did not do. I'll forgive you because you're a fan of Hill-Murray and probably weren't at that game seeing as it wasn't sections or anything like that. Indeed, the Bears...

Pistol, You are way to good be be fishing in this barrel. WBL fans are way to high strung right now. Haha who wouldn't be after that win against Roseville? As a WBL fan, I will be cheering for the Bears on Friday. I am not going to get my hopes to high though. If the Bears can pull off a win...

WB and Burnsville need to meet up in the state tournament so we can see who has the better student section. After last night's performance at the coliseum, it's gotta be WB. If you like rude, out of bounds, vulgar, trailor park cheers then White Bear is your team. Definite public school mentality. ...

Maybe we could goat wbmd into giving up the meaning by making up ridiculous meanings for the D?

Re: Runner Up - 1982

A lot of folks picked Mariner to beat Edina because they were so big. Not to be, as the 6-0 beatdown had everyone leaving the Civic Center talking about Edina's speed. Can't hit what you can't catch, and the Mariner kid couldn't have caught a cold on that night. Edina was loaded with their first me...

It is funny how once the schools merged back together all of the Mariner history went the way of the dodo bird. I think it would be extremely cool if tonight the Bears skated out wearing blue and Gold jersey's with an anchor on them. Thanks to all of those who have told the stories they could rememb...

wbmd, you an alum of White Bear? Easy there, wbmd does not like to give his secrets away. Also Mariner and White Bear were not exactly a friendly rivalry. Kids from the north and south sides of town didn't exactly get along back in the day. so asking a guy from Mariner if he is a White Bear grad ma...

I see you are full of many words tonight. :) Just not going to get into the bad part that they decided to do. I can respect that. What can you tell me about their style of play. I heard they liked to take the body. I also heard the team was really big for a team of that era. Multiple guys or 6' and...

Hiifan you dont understand. Its not that important to win games like the section final or conferance championships. In theory I can see the positives in you plan.

My question is what would prevent the players from leaving early to play in Canada's major juniors and other such leagues?

I fear the plan that you laid out may actually hurt college hockey.

Hey Don't cost, Lets see if you will leave for 3,000,000. I would venture to guess you make think about it. Does Kyle Okposo owe that to Lucia.... no. I bet you would give it some serious thought. Three million dollars is alot of money. Go ahead and judge me. Under the new NHL collective bargaining...

Does a 17 year old kid owe a 45-50 year old adult anything. I guess I would say he has more character if he desides to leave his buddies to pursue his dreams. I am not one to judge. If a family thinks it's a good choice, I have to respect that. Ryan Mac from Cretin was already big enough and strong...
