Quarter Finals: Minneapolis Storm over Little falls - Storm has best draw of tourney. Big Storm Defensemen handle small team that is missing 2 of their better players. Great momentum for the Storm! The desicion is final according to the MSHSL and we have to live with that for the rest of our lifes, and we can only hope all involved learned a valuable lesson and rules are put in place to deal with situations like this in the future. What bothers me the most is that the ref who made the call wi...

I saw an AHL goal like the one described in the Sartell game on youtube and it was counted as good. Can't find it but enjoy this one.

Pretty sure I'm in the minority here; Edina beats Burnsville, Burnsville ties and beats Jefferson and Holy Angels ties Edina. Looking at head to head games it seems pretty cut and dry to me. Although I think all three teams should cancel a game or two from their schedules and pick up games with the...

Wayzata hasn't lost since January 7th. Minnetonka lost on Feb 11th and has only won 2 of their last 5 games (with two of those being Wayzata ties).

Tough call.

I started this conversation by saying "If Wayzata beats Hopkins on Saturday,"...nobody jumped to conclusions. Thanks for the insight last night Knowitall.

Overall records and head to head are more important than conference standings. Tonka will end up with a 22-1-2 record and Wayzata will end up 20-2-3. Tonka also has more quality wins (wins against top 20 teams). They will get the #1 seed Not going to argue...but this leaves a bad taste. Against the...

I'd hope so. This is going to be a ridiculous section tournament. If Wayzata beats Hopkins on Saturday, Wayzata wins the Classic Lake and Tonka finishes 2nd. Does that give Tonka the #1 section seed? It shouldn't. Don't confuse conference play with section seeding. Tonka is still the #1 team in the...

3-3 Final in OT. That has to give Tonka the nod for the #1 seed in 6AA does it not? I'd hope so. This is going to be a ridiculous section tournament. If Wayzata beats Hopkins on Saturday, Wayzata wins the Classic Lake and Tonka finishes 2nd. Does that give Tonka the #1 section seed? It shouldn't.

Jack Daniels, here are the facts for you- You claim STA plays A because "They need the exposure winning brings". This is simply false, and you just made it up. The school has been around for 150 years and will stay open regardless of how good the hockey team is. They dont all of a sudden ...

What would happen if the AA champs played the A champs? This would mean the A team got a free pass to a shot at the real title. Beating Delano, Rogers and Mound to get to state is weak. Rogers will have to play a great game if they want to beat a very fast Breck team and I just dont see that happening. Rehkamp and Fulton will be to much for Rogers to contain. Also the goaltending battle goes to Breck in a landslide and that makes a world of difference in the palyoffs. 5-1 Breck Re...
