I wonder if any of the the Edina fans/players are thinking about the last time that they drew a first round match-up against a section 7 team. Edina will probably win, but this is not a good draw for them imho. Cloquet is one of those teams, much like rapids was last year, that got to states as an u...

I'm glad Cloquet took care of business. Sounds like it was a good game. I wish I could of been there. Can't wait for state.

The situation in northen hockey is incredible sad. My feeling is that it's largely economic as population seems to be concentrating in the metro. I'm actually suprised that GR has been as competitive as they have the last few years. The North/Range versus metro rival is a good thing though so I hope...

One of the reasons that Edina outshot BV by such a substantial margin was they started OT on a powerplay. Edina was the better team, but somehow BV seemed to hang in there. I wasn't that impressed with Barnes. He made a couple of nifty plays (especially that one pass between the legs), but I would h...

It was a disappointing end to a great morning/afternoon of hockey. I was a little bummed by the Rapids fans leaving early too, but it was still a good showing. After all Anoka had about a quarter of the people there Rapids did. I just hope Cloquet can pull it out Thursday. Well it's off to BIG to wa...

If GR comes out and plays the way they did against FLake and Rendle and Kosak are close to 100% (which sounds like the case) they should win. Any of the 4 teams in 7AA has a chance and will represent well at state. I just hope it's not Anoka. I'll take Rapids 3-1. I can't go against my Indians. See ...

So there isn't any home ice advantage with Bloomington playing in the other game. That makes sense. Do they always split them between BIG/Braemer or just when Edina and Jefferson are involved? They always have the 7AA semis/championship at the DECC, which is great atmosphere and probably the most l...

Just curious who the rest of the state would like to see win. I'm torn between the private school and the kid who used to play for St Thomas. But everyone hates edina and private schools. So, if the majority of fans could choose, who would they have win? Growing up in the northland I'd have to say ...

Whoever wins I just hope they can beat Marshal (assuming they get past Virginia). I wish this game was going to be on MSBN. Anybody out there know where to listen in for those of us who are now cities dwellers?
