Not being from EP, I'm not sure what the beef is. Are the EP parents that are on this forum upset that players are leaving? Or upset that some stay? If the players leaving, or their parents are such pains in the rear, wouldn't you welcome their departure? I'm unclear as to what the problem is. You ...

Now you're starting to sound like a bitter EP dad who's kid is an up and coming Bantam player seeking a spot. Not picking a fight with you, but you're the one coming off like a bitter guy/gal who hasn't gotten what they want. If the kids that are leaving, or their parents, are such cancers, how is ...

Pretty certain GR3343 is a proud Grand Rapids parent - Not Rogge's Dad... breakout... not that it doesn't happen here on the bored, but that's not the case here. D16 is correct. Thanks, fellas. I, of course since I'm not his parent, do not have the particulars on young Mr. Rogge. I do know h...

I am just trying to look at a bunch of kids leaving Ep from a different view point; maybe Smith isn't a great coach. How long has he been there and what has Ep done since he has been there? I am just playing devils advocate here and am saying that there is always three sides to a story. I don't thi...

No disrespect, who is Mitch Rogge? What grade is he in? Rogge is a junior to be at EP. Heard from a pretty reliable source that he did indeed make the SSM squad and is weighing his options on whether to leave EP or not. I have never heard of the kid. Did he play in advance camp? How did he do there...

Re: advanced 15's going to St Cloud
Yeah.. and what about Matt Bauer??? (On D11) He's listed as a Duluth East Bantam A but has NEVER played Bantam A's.. Last year was on East Bantam B team! HAHAHA You have to be kidding? Kyle Lutzka was one of the best bantams in the state this past season. Someone didn't do their job, I would have e...

Re: Blake Thompson, Nick Leddy and Jason Clark
Was it the right decision for blake to go to the ushl and for leddy to turn down an offer to the us u-18 team and finally Jason's recent decision to possible play for shattuck St. Marys? Leddy is the real deal, and he is staying :!: Some people need to take off their rose colored glasses when they ...

let me give some insight to the blades sucess in this tourney. my son played for the hawks we were up 2-1 with 4 minutes left. at 3 something left in the game our goalie covers a loose puck the refs than allow play to go on for another 5 seconds until finally one of the blades players jam it home. ...

GOEP, The point still stands the process is poor and everyone knows it. If any association conducted a tryout process like most of the districts (not all) the parents wouldn't stand for it. It even puts the folks who are asked to pick/judge in a bad position. Everyone knows the right formula.... 6-...

GR33** You summed it up well. The advanced programs have become the inside joke around the state. I am surprised they can't get their act together and that MN hockey continues to expose themselves to such negative perception due to the poor tryout process. If any of their associations used such a p...
