Hastings didn't have any JV scrimmages in Duluth, so the safe presumption is that this player was competing for a varsity position.

The sad part of this is because of the decisions of the adults, the kids from Warroad or Breck, whoever wins, will forever have to live with the question of "What if?". What if we had played AA? I wonder if we were really the best? They weren't given the chance to prove it. Sad. Sad, too,...

Why not make them all champions, too? What would be the point of having 2 teams from each section go to state? It would only diminish what it means to get to state.
