I heard he broke his arm so the shoulder sounds much better. This must kill the team since they only have about 30 kids on the team (both JV and Varsity-everyone who tried out) I caught a few games last year and noticed they moved a bunch of kids around which is a bad sign. The Thompson kid who was ...

I hope you're underlying purpose is not to propose that teams cut their seniors in favor of younger players? Not at all, I was just curious as how these teams are doing what they are doing. They lost half their rosters which were seniors and now have rebuilt into better teams. They may also have lo...

Best rebuilding jobs after the first half of this season

I took a quick look at teams that lost a lot of seniors from last year (about half the team or more) and have made great improvements over last year after at least 13 games (half season) Here are my top 3: 1) Elk River, lost 8 seniors, 2007/8 record 8-17-0, 2008/9 record 7-6-0 2) Stillwater, lost 11...

I think you may be correct, the lake is starting to take shape, Jefferson and EP, the upstart AV and Burnsville, Eagan than the rest?

Apple Valley has 2 really good defensemen this year, they are known for their D, Lundin at Tampa Lightning, Medvec at Vermont, Fischer at the U. Look at the Thompson kid, he was all conference last year, he is all over the ice, strong player, I think he was their top scorer last year

The Lake Conference

What does everyone think of the Lake this year? It looks like EP and Jefferson are head and shoulders above the pack but after this? Burnsville has been crushed, Eagan smoked, Rosemount destroyed, Eastview lost to Valley, heck Kennedy won.
