Nelson looks like he needs to add some weight. His frame looks a bit light. Krause and Gardiner look like they have solid frames that just need maturation. But the height of Nelson, Krause and Gardiner is such an advanatge with their skills. Marshall definitely needs to gain 20-25 pounds on his 165...

Re: Pep Bands at Hockey Games
Do you love them? Or do you hate them? Does your team even let the band play at the rink? Personally I hate them. In the Bloomington Ice Gardens (BIG) the sound of the drum line echos and is way to loud. You can not hear the fans and I doubt you can hear anything on the ice. Overall I think they ca...

called the high school league last year regarding this matter and they said goalies were not allowed to play four periods, that the rule applied to goalies the same as players. Everyone is allowed 4 periods.. one shift counts as playing a period. Some kids split jv and varsity, if they played one p...

This is the week that any of Rapids, Elk River, Edina or Eden Prairie can really stand out. Whoever goes 3-0 should make a big jump and it's looking this year like it could be anyone. If by anyone you mean Edina, Elk River or Eden Prairie yes, but Grand Rapids has zero chance of winning all three g...

Brock Nelson IS NO JOKE of a player. He is signed with North Dakota who is ranked #3 in the country right now. Hes also an "A" player in the CSS list for the NHL!

Re: Oust Alaska Anchorage?
Anyone think the answer to getting Bemidji in might be getting rid of the lowly Seawolves. The Lowly seawolves? You put the Seawolves in the same confrence as bemidji and they do just as good or better and get a free ride to the NCAA tournament. I would like to see the Beavers in the WCHA to becaus...

I think that Don Lucias days should be limited at the University Of Minnesota.. However he does deserve a chance to turn things around due to the fact that he has a couple of rings that he puts on every morning. But it is not exeptable for the gophers to not make the tournament.. Thats awful coachi...

Also watch #6 Welinski. Doesnt see a great amount of time out there because Forbort Williams, Arbour and Mclean are so good, but is on the powerplay.HoundHockeyFanatic wrote:Actually it's Derek Forbort and the entire D core for East should be watched. Jake Williams, Joe Arbour, and Al McLean are outstanding.

I think that the key to this game is weather or not East's forwards will drive to the net and shoot from the slot, or just settle for shots from outside the dots which they have a tendency to do. East will outshoot cretin, but its the quality shots that count. If cooper stays focused this game will ...

Myself and many others would rather have a standing room only MAC than a 2/3 full NHC.[/quote] Couldnt agree more, pack the MAC and let the game begin. Nothing like playing in a rink thats constantly buzzing. There is no way they would fill the NHC and thats the only way it could make for a good atm...

Haven seen both of the teams play I know it will be a close game. Its obvious that Alexandria doesnt have a single player as good as Hanowski, but if Alex designates a line that can slow down the Hanowski line and use the others as scoring lines I think they have a chance. Thats not as easy as it so...

The DECC has a smaller sheet of ice but there is not a huge difference between the DECC or any other high school arena. You could start yelling if ER had an Olympic sheet of ice but I'm assuming they don't. The size of the ice is a very small factor. It's not like ER hasn't played their before. The...

This is orginally a northern section it should be played up here. It's hard enough when there are really only three northern teams left in the section and everybody wants to see all cities teams in the tourney. Stop complaining! So many people cheer against East because they just hate us. I guarant...
