The list of players going on to the second phase was e-mailed yesterday.
I counted 8 goalies on Monday and 9 on Tuesday. Lots of good skaters and goalies on the ice.
PM me if there is someone in particular you want to check on...

Took my boys and some of their friends to the game last night. Well worth the drive as it was a fun game to watch with a great atmosphere. Not a fan of DE or GR so some nuetral observations: - DE goalie was very solid/poised. Will give them a shot next weekend. - DE overall skill level not as high a...

Squirt level - small association (a real small association not a Forest Lake type small) in a district with top level AA teams. Small associations in this district typically play their top teams at the B1 level. 3 yea...

Elliott70, Thank you for your feedback on this forum. I'm wondering if any decisions were made with regard to the A/AA classifications/tournaments. Will large associations field both an A and AA teams? What levels will be included (SQ, PW, BT)? Will all associations be required to field A teams? etc...

My assumption is that those charged with creating policies of fairness could come to some kind of agreement to prevent this from happening. I take it you feel that MH is powerless to prevent this from happening? If they are unable then I would agree that this is a rule that needs to be repealed. Ho...

Jeez, as if it weren't hard enough already to get quality people involved with our Hockey Boards (1st hand experience). Let's just throw the tracking of this new participation rule on top of the current load and then chastise volunteers if they seem less than thrilled about it. Since this gorilla wa...

Need a Squirt B team for your tourney 2/13-2/15?
Hi everyone, My son plays on a Squirt B team in Central MN. We were registered (and paid) in a tournament being played Feb 13th - 15th. Just yesterday we received our check back along with a note stating that since they didn't completely fill the tournament and there were an odd number of teams - we...
