Hockeyfanaticguy, Obviously you don't know much about the Classic Suburban teams. Where is SSP on your list? If I can remember correctly, beside the section semis last year, they have owned Mahtomedi the past 2 seasons, and Tartan hasn't stood much of a chance. Also, they always put up a fight again...

I don't know much about Totino, but I saw them play against St. Thomas, and they got slaughtered in every way, shape, and form. I believe it was 10-0 in favor of St. Thomas who is not as strong as they have been in years past.

This is totally by chance. Wilcox (their goalie now) is actually the cousin of the 2004 goalie (Stalock, now at UMD) so maybe it just runs in the family.

I saw the game last night, and yes, mahtomedi did have more shots, but ssp had a lot more quality chances. ssp gives up shots from the perimeter that they know their goalie can stop.
