    IF Eden Prairie, Wayzata and Andover are that good, why are they not going to Grand Rapids? :? :?: Because it's too far to drive? LOL Double OT loss to their nemeses in Anoka kept the Huskies away. I'm gonna go with either Anoka or Lakeville to win it all. From what ...

Pulled the goalie with a lead? Wow, that's cold.

Anyone know how Andover did this afternoon? After the OT loss yesterday, and the fact that Buffalo beat Cottage Grove, I hope their defense held up today.

Sounds like the Reds got their revenge for Princeton ruining their perfect season. I missed all the morning games (Lent) but did get there in time to see Anoka/Andover on the A side. After the 1-0 game last month it was nice to see some scoring. Huskies are peaking at the right time.

Goalies for Blaine, Princeton and CentBlack all run hot and cold depending on how "in the flow" they get. Andover goalie is probably better than any of them, but needed better skaters around her. 8 goals allowed vs Chisago, ouch! I wonder if the flu bug at the middle school did them in.

Despite the fact that Andover lost all their games against the 2 Centennial B teams, they did split with the A team and finished ahead of them in the standings. All these games were very competitive and the Andover coaches appeared to be more adept at making adjustments between periods. Of course th...

Ok, I like 5, 3 and 12 from Princeton and agree with you about the Andover girls. Not sure about the comment that Andover is not well-liked, though. Other than a dustup against CentRed (I think a Dad got tossed) I haven't heard anything particularly negative about their playing style.

Sounds like this Cent Red team has been lucky all year if it's been stated that their coaching isn't that good. .....even with their one loss D10 record. How did they do in Tourneys this year? Did they beat any good teams outside of D10? Has their goalie been tested? sounds as if the better teams a...

Re: 12U B Olympic Region Bracket

Olympic Region is complete. D15 Seeds: #1 Park Rapids #2 Alexandria #3 Pequot Lakes #4 Fergus Falls D12/16 Seeds: #1 Roseau D11 Seeds: #1 Proctor #2 Cloquet #3 Hibbing Pick the winners to go to state (2 move on): I'll go with Proctor and Hibbing in an upset. I'm with you on Proctor, but I like Pequ...

Blaine has to beat Red and the winner of Princeton/Black in order to advance. Too bad Andover kinda ruined Blaine's chances for the #3 seed in D10 by getting the tie a couple weeks ago. Of course Blaine would've had to have beaten CentBlack in their 2nd meeting as well.

Blaine has yet to be blown out this season. Would be nice to them sneak by Red and roll the dice from there. Princeton holds a 2 games to 1 advantage on the season, but Blaine's win against them was a shutout. Flip a coin if it were to happen. If Blaine were to win against Red, would they then be t...

Forgot to make my prediction in the upper bracket: Since Blaine and Princeton are the only D10 teams to score on CentRed's (should have been the A) goalie this year, I'm calling that the final pairing with Blaine shutting down the "Big Red Machine" 1-0. Gonna be a tough Saturday for Circle...

The American Region has 4 of 8 in the door. Minnetonka & EP join Wayzata and Moundsview who advanced after winning Sunday vs Osseo and Highland respectively. The National Region has Lakeville and Cottage Grove advancing with the winner of REV vs Woodbury being the 3rd seed from L8. I'm not even...

Showdown in D10 - Predictions?

The 2 Centennial teams have posted 2 shutouts each so far, but Princeton and Blaine have also won both their games. Who will prevail this weekend? CentRed already has a Region spot clinched due to winning the regular season, so will they come out flat and let Blaine sneak past them? If Blaine loses,...

I dont think Cyha thought their 2 B teams were going to be as competitive as they are. The Black team is 17-4-1 in D10 play. Their only losses were to Red and Princeton, and the tie to Blaine. Also the Red team was 21-1 with the only loss to Princeton. I know the coach of the Black team and he was ...

Re: 12UB #2 vs #4 and #4 vs Cent. Black Today - Predictions?

CentRed, on the other hand, is a poorly coached team filled with tremendous athletes - especially their goalie. Princeton beat them because of superior coaching - and great players, of course. However, I still think Proctor would beat the Red team because of superior discipline and coaching acumen....

I also know some of the coaches from Centennial and the way they put their A team together with U10 girls and put older (8th graders) on the Red team is retarded. Everything can't be fair but I do think they shouldn't be able to do that. JMO. The powers-that-be in the CYHA are clearly not rocket sc...

I agree with Gopher. Black is nothing but class! Hello!? I didn't say Black wasn't. I said it was Red and I guess I shouldn't have mentioned it. It is disturbing to me though that girls can be that vulgar at that age. I didn't even know what some of those words were when I was that age! Guess they ...

You have got to be kidding me? Ambulances? Were you watching the same game as everyone else? Our girls are physical but not cheap which can't be said the same for other teams. One of the girls on the Centennial Red team called my daughter a C--T when we played them and beat them. She was also calle...

If you want to talk goals-against stats, CentRed gave up 4 goals TOTAL in 22 D10 league games this year - 1 to Blaine, and 3 to Princeton in their only loss! 20 shutouts in a 22 game season is pretty impressive.quote] It only proves that Centennial Red should have been an "A" team. You ca...

The Princeton-CentBlack game will be decided by the officiating, IMO. If they get control early it will be a good game, if not it will get ugly in a hurry. The last time these two teams played (at Princeton) it looked like Centennial might need to hire a fleet of ambulances to get their players hom...

District 15 does it the same way. Park Rapids won the league and are automatically berthed to the Regions. The only reason they play in the District Tourney is for seeding which they won anyway. Red plays Blaine - 2/28 @ 1 pm Princeton plays Black - 2/28 @ 4:45 pm All are undefeated in the tourney....
