Royals dad, U14 teams in Minnesota. Agreed 96 Prospect team is the team to beat. I believe you are missing the 95 Minnesota Score out of Stillwater as the next best team losing to the 96 Prospect team 3-2 in earlier tourney in the finals. They also beat Icecats by a few and Bauer by 8 a week ago. A...

U14: The 96 Prospects, Ice Cats, and Bauer all had good weekends that included some big wins. I think the u14 gold bracket may have been the best U14 tourney bracket yet this year. The Team to beat in MN looks to be the 96 prospects, with the Ice Cats, Bauer, LS Stars, and Blades right behind. Woul...

How deep was the talent @ the 15 level? I saw some of the 16 and 17's over the weekend and it seemed like the depth wasn't there. The few games I watched didn't lend much room for a chance of controversy in picking the wrong players. Seems to be a pretty distinct line. I would say the talent is dee...

Pretend there are no politics at all and it will help your perspective. See. Get off the bubble. Make sure your player is a first 10 player pick and you'll never have a problem again. You should also know that this process doesn't always define the best. There's a limit to the number of invites per...

Hey, the bubble is a bitch. I think that's what you're talking about. Anyone can pick the first 15 players for these 20 (plus 2 goalies) player rosters. Now you get to the last 5 and guess what, as an observer, your opinion doesn't count. Some like big and strong and some like small and fast. I thi...

I don't think it would make a differnce if they were from another district. District 10 evaluators are honest and they do know who should be on the team and who should be cut. You can say that but when you coach some of the girls and your daughter is friends with them, sorry but I can't believe the...

I think you're looking at the final statewide Adv 15 team from last year (1994 birthdates). I believe CenRedFan was referring to the Adv 15 - D10 team only (after the initial cuts). In some districts with low numbers, it's hard not to make it past the initial cuts. I'm sure D10 had a ton of girls t...

I take it CenRED is from Centennial and his/her daughter did not make the team. However it looks like 3 others players from D10 made it. Where does all the complaining end??? If your daughter did not make it, learn from it. Evaluate your own player and make the good decisions to improve your athlet...

CenRed is it the coaches, the philosophy, or letting every player play, that you dont like about Legacy, or is it the development team idea? Since you seem to have a strong opinion about the program. In the past 3 years I have tried Showcase AAA, tournament teams, and a developement team. I see not...

CenRed - sounds like you got bit by lack of research. Sucks to be you, good luck next time around. If you can, elaborate, we would love to hear another side of the Legacy program as we have the RedArmy version already. Nope it doesn't suck to be me at all. Legacy is run by mostly Centennial persons...

Re: Reply to Alpha
If you are new to AAA please be real about your child's ability. All I heard this year was how watered down the AAA teams and leagues have become as a result of independent teams and Development Leagues. I wish there were development leagues when my daughter was just coming into it. I would have sa...

I watched the u14 meltdown, this weekend. It was the division at the superrink. I belive there were 8 teams in Blaine and 10 teams in St. louis park. I think showcase tried to make the St. Louis Park division stronger than the Blaine division. I can't say for sure, having not watched any games in S...

nighttrain.....There's a world of AAA girl's hockey outside of Showcase. Your previous post would be better titled top Showcase teams. Come out of the closet and post as a Showcase principle so we can take it for what it's worth. Showcase provides a valuable service to girl's hockey but let's not c...

I think the Blades are still sorting out their girls teams. There is no U11 level. Because this is just their second year of offering girls teams the teams are still a little mixed up. Girls AAA teams, like boys AAA, are moving to single birthyear teams so they don't have to entirely rebuild their ...

Might still be playing in D8 - only been an hour since the start. Cent Red vs Princeton - I thought it would be much closer than the score - maybe it was. Princeton didn't come out like they have previously and Red was very agressive. Princeton came back in the 3rd but their 2nd defensive line whic...
