I just read an article in todays Star and Trib about John Maddens son who plays for the 41-0 Edina Squirt A team. Is the 35 game rule out now? Because they are so good we will allow them 6 extra games? Is this a Minnesota Hockey rule or District 6? Do clubs just police themselves with this rule?

What is wrong with going to the X and having the whole corner section to yourself? Have you ever been to a game where the person next to you thinks they are the play by play announcer? Leave the format the way it is.

Can you blame AHA? Most of these coaches don't know how to let up after thier team is pounding the weaker opponent. Look at Lakeville South when they pounded Bloomington Kennedy 17-0. After a 10 goal lead do you think the coach should mention to the girls back off?

Rj04- As you know you don't always end with the top 8 teams at state. Like last year EP and Wayzata had to stay home. That is why you want to peak at the right time or just get some lucky breaks. Forget about winning 3-4 Tourneys throughout the year it's all about playing your best in late Feb-early...

One problem with mixing regions we would end up with a district 3/6 state tournament because they would eliminate all of the northern teams in the region playoffs.
