Leddy?

Do you think Leddy was a good first round pick by the Wild?

Just wondering where everyone thinks Jared Festler will fall. I noticed the only WCHA player from Minny being talked about on here was Shroeder (not a surprise) but I think Festler will get picked sooner than people think he will though. I'd say at least late 4th to early 5th round unless the NHL li...

They don't name finalists. They vote during the title game of each class.

LOL @ LF being the 2nd best team the last 3 years. Thanks for the laugh. Hmm, did you forget to mention they got BLOWN OUT by the eventual champion each year? Warroad would have dominated them as well. Lourdes certainly put up a better fight than Ben "I Don't Backcheck" Hanowski I did say...

Re: Herb Brooks award

Congratulations to Riley Hirsh {Little Falls} for winning the Herb Brooks award! Riley is a hard working player on the ice and a very good person of the ice. It was a pleasure watching him during his career as a Flyer. Congrats Riley, good luck with your future. Ditto, I had the pleasure of attendi...

My little brother came on here and used my name, notice how I deleted it right away? He's cocky as crap. Anyways, congrats to Breck on the well done season and to everyone else and I think the All Tourny team was well put together and would be amazing to see play a scrimmage against the AA All Tourn...

Re: Why no 7th place game?

Why do they not have a 7th place game? Any reason they let the bottom dwellers just fall off the map? $? Don't want one team to go down 0-3, so they make two go down 0-2 together, is that it? I always thought being able to place 1st-8th of the state tourney wouldn't be such a bad idea, rather than ...

Nope, third place games are not aired and it's a shame. They do show highlights during the championship games though if I am correctly thinking.

Sounds like you are already expecting a LF loss tomorrow. Well, I kind of saw it coming after LF played their 1st line all game against Virginia and wasn't at all surprised that Breck won today by such a large margin but that isn't why I asked, I just thought it was a little, for lack of bett...

Congrats to Breck, I knew LF shouldn't have played Ben's line at all in the 3rd against Virginia, they looked like they were playing in slush while Breck was flying right by them. And for all of you who are talking about a weak schedule it's still not the player's faults. Ben played for the twon tha...

I'm wondering why everyone took four years of him at state to finally realise how talented he is. You all must have just not watched the Flyers' past State games.

As for the game, I think no close outcome would be surprising. Breck has a very good shot at winning. They are a very good defense team, holding a strong offense team in Duluth East to only 2 goals. They can also score. Little Falls has shown everyone they have talented players and can score on any...

Make no mistake, this kid is an amazing high school hockey player. He has the shot, the moves, and he can get by at this level with his speed. My only question is how he will adapt at the college level. He doesn't have the speed to get around the much faster defenders he will be seeing in the WCHA....

Little Falls they do not have the defense or 3 lines to win it all. Last I checked LF's defense is one of the best in the state. Their goalie is amazing this year in nets and their 4 strong D-men block tons of shots out in front plus 2 of them are leading scores on the team from the blue line. Stop...

Re: State Tournament Scoring Leaders

Hanowski leads all active players in state tournament scoring with 19 points, but that's probably due to the Flyers' cupcake state tournament schedule. Sylvester's points came with Little Falls. Most of Lee's points came with St. Thomas. Or it's because he's just good at what he does. I remember ev...
