Re: Chicago Showcase Roster
I agree with gainazone. There is no reason for a girl to go who has already signed. Let it be a chance for someone who hasn't committed yet.

Re: Chicago Showcase Roster
Why are there Juniors on the roster? Laura Komereck and Sara Yungner are both Juniors.

Re: You just don't get it
I wouldn't necessarily count Kilpatrick as a "lock". While I agree that this class is down, there are some very talented girls. Terra Rasmussen, Maria Stoa and Amanda Trunzo play in very hard conferences and have done very well. I have seen all of them step up in big games where it counts....

I am sure the girl who shot 67,000 pucks in one summer will have no problem with E.P.

Re: Ms Hockey D
I think Lee from Wayzata got royally screwed ! She played the TOUGHEST SCHEDULE IN THE STATE and helped her team win all year. i sat on the E.P. side during the finals and everytime she got the puck they were panicked. I could hear them talk of how amazing she was. I guess she or her coaches don't k...

I think NSP is going to pull it off. With their 2 awesome forwards and Scavo in goal, I don't see the ponies being able to get it done.

Congratulations Ashley! Good move to make an early decision if you already know where you feel comfortable. St. Cloud is doing a fine job of recruiting. Go Huskies!

Re: Playoffs
How do the match ups get decided? Meaning does the number 1 seed in a section play the lowest seed, the number 2 seed play the second lowest and so on?

Re: Ms Hockey
I couldn't agree more with both of you that a good player should not be punished because she is playing a weaker team. But this just looks to me like a player who just wants to get her stats up.

Re: Ms. Hockey
I think you are trying to justify this. No player needs to score 8 goals and 3 assists even if they were playing the whole game. Was she moving the puck around? This is not a Mite team with 1 superstar bringing the puck down. Why not (after the first 3-4 goals) move the puck to another girl who mayb...

Re: Ms. Hockey
I would like to know what others think of Stillwater's #14 performance the other night against Moundsview. 8 goals in 2 periods! Seems like a shameless campaign for Ms Hockey. From the times of the goals reported in the paper, it looks as if she was out there most of the time during those 2 periods....

Re: What's up with the Class A Rankings
IMO Blake is one of the most under rated teams in the state. They are my pick to take the A State title this year.

E.P.
COME ON! E.P. HAS PLAYED ONLY ONE REALLY TOUGH GAME THIS YEAR AND THAT WAS WAYZATA. THEY WERE SCORELESS AFTER 3, WENT INTO OVER TIME AND WON OFF A SOFT GOAL OFF OF A PLAYERS SKATE. SSP WILL BEAT THEM, SO WILL BSM! GUESS I'M JUST KIND OF SICK OF THE E.P. BAND WAGON!

Re: Blake team in trouble now?
I know that the reason Berit is not playing is because she is in the State swim meet. That is the only reason she is not playing now. Don't know about the others.
