This is a great oppurtunity for AAA teams to see the best competition available. I know that right now the Wisconsin Badgers and the MN Ice Cats are in the US division. The US division is still looking for more teams.

How does any of this relate to outstate districts 15, 16, 11, and 12. It doesn't, we are proud of who we play for and in the long run we improve our own skaters through taking a beating at the A level. Only have three A skaters on our team? Thats ok, we'll skate at the A level and push the B players...

There has been some talk in Minnesota Hockey to start and Advanced 13-14. This program would be the same as the advanced 15 program without a trip to NY. Could effect some AAA hockey teams in the future. The advance 15 already effects some of the spring tourneys like elites, selects and superseries.

The Most Bang For Your Buck??

These days there are so many options to train athletes; whether it be Hockey Camps, AAA, Acceleration training, Dryland and many other options.

I am sure there are lots of opinions out there on what kind of training will give you the most bang for your buck in these tight times??

Anyone?

I think the tournaments could do a little better job of placing teams in the right division. But if the coach's aren't honest with them, when signing up the team, there isn't much you can do.

The answer in the Two Nations Female Leauge. They are starting a U12 division this year.

I'm not for lopsided games, and I never said development-focused teams can't be as good as any other AAA team. Now your starting to make sense. Your absolutely right when you say that all players can do developmental teams to become better players and I totally agree with that. I wish we had someth...

They recruit the best skaters they can and they practice and scrimmage to prep for tournaments. Of course they do, isn't that what the definition of AAA hockey is?!! Parents in the North drive two sometimes three hours to go to a two hour practice before a tournament. They don't want to spend $600 ...

Two years ago at the U10A level Moorhead beat Minnetonka in Moorhead's home tournament 5-3, Moorhead's has a very good goalie who ended that game with 50 some saves.

Northern teams that will compete

Believe it or not twin cities. Thief River Falls, if they keep everyone where they are suppose to be will be a very solid program to compete with. Remember last year their two best defenseman were actually U10 eligible. Moorhead looks like they will be having two teams an A and a B. They also had a ...

99 Girls machine coaches

This weekend at the International cup the 99 Girls machine was thrown out after fighting with the 98 dream team coach in a game this weekend. He insisted that the other teams jersey looked too much like his own players and threw pennies at him for the two girls to wear. Real good example of a coach.

Moorhead Girls Head Coach Position

Saw in the Fargo Forum today, Jim McFarlane, the head coach of the Moorhead Girls resigned. He has been at it for 10 years and kids are young and moving through the youth program. Looks like an oppurtunity for starting a great legacy for someone. Good talent coming up.

Some Independents very inexpensive

The Minnkota Wildcats is a perfect example of select northern players playing four tournaments and keeping it very affordable. The goal, no matter how much money you make there is a way to play AAA hockey on this team as long as you are selected for the team. There is no tryout, players are chosen o...
