Woodbury lost 7...2 to each to Woodbury, East Ridge and Hill, 1 to SPA; an 8th went to Shattuck prior to last season. That said, they still have teams at AA, A and B1.[/quote] Not sure your facts are straight on this. I believe they only lost one to East Ridge and one to Woodbury. The others to whic...

Is that Farmington team still intact? Will they have some end up on the varsity ? Thank you. They lost a couple of their big defensemen from past years', as well as one of their little forwards. They shouldn't lose anymore players to high school. They will still be good, just not as good as in past...

Every witness to an event sees it from his own angle and bias. A grievance has been filed apparently. Perhaps we should let them handle it before someone is convicted. While I do not doubt the player, coach, and parent; I am skeptical of the news media. Exactly why I was wondering if anybody on thi...

Ref Gives Bantam A Concussion?

Is there anybody on this board that was actually in attendance at this game? I'm interested to hear what they saw. http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2011/12/06/hockey-coach-parent-accuses-referee-of-hurting-player/#.Tt9yfgHWVZY.email I am in no way affiliated with Minneapolis hockey. Just curious to hea...

I caught a couple of games in the 97 group. A team from Canada CAN/AM SELECTS looked very strong and seemed to dominate the rest of the group. I heard they took gold, but does anyone know where this team is from never saw it before. Don't know if they don't play minneapolis much, but nice to get fo...

I am happy to say Christian is going to be ok. It's going to be a long recovery but things could've been much worse. Thank God for that. Please, any updates would be appreciated. Everytime I hear something like this I feel like throwing up having a kid in hockey myself. I think of Ben Peyton who ha...

Hopkins better do a little bit more than beat Kennedy by just one goal and beat Rogers by just two goals to capture anybody's imagination.

I agree with InigoMontoya. I would expect a close game with either team potentially winning. No way EITHER team wins by five. I'll bet the gap is no more than two.

I believe Edina did post a 7 on Lakeville North earlier this fall.

The Woodbury team who took 2nd in state last year lost most of their kids to Bantams, so they aren't projecting to be nearly as good this year.

My son has never skated in AAA hockey before. I'm curious of the commitment level. I know it varies between programs and levels (open vs. invite), but generally speaking, are kids who play AAA hockey also playing in other spring/summer sports like traveling baseball or traveling soccer? And, if so, ...

EdinaRumors, I am not posting this in defense of the Edina Hockey Association… last I checked, they don’t need my defense. I just feel the need to respond because what you are speaking of happens just about everywhere… and it’s not the end of the world, nor the end of your grandson’s hockey career; ...
