I don't like the 6 goal diff running time, not even in youth. One of my sons was on a team that got beat pretty bad all the time. The boys kept a good attitude and worked hard. It seemed a shame to drive an hour and half for 36 minutes of hockey and then have the last 12 be run time. The kids wanted...

Was it me, or did Austin's effort level seem weak? They had some spark after they scored, but then lagged.

I saw some hard work from a few of them, others not so much.

How does your assn get parents to volunteer? Is it hard to staff your tournaments, concession stands, golf events...etc?

clutterbuck22: One of the two Austin kids was eligible to play but he injured his knee in the last football game of the season and had surgery in November. The other one is eligible I believe at the end of the month he has been playing jv all season. Bummer about the injury. Hard to take after goin...

If a group ends up staying together, like these boys did at Lourdes, does this mean the school recruited, or did they just want to keep the Bantam team together in high school? Did the parents just plan it themselves? Is this a good argument for Bantam teams segregated by school instead of stacking?...

Marty - What I heard from the kid was that Century Coach told him he would have to try out for the team. Spaniol told him he would play regular shift as a freshman.
