Thorne has been absolutely fantastic. He's really got a good grasp of the game, makes well timed observations and I love that voice.
And how great is it that Housley is not even in the state this year for the tournament? I hope he never comes back.

Re: TV Announcer annoyances
Gonna have to go see some games in person. Announcers mispronunciations driving me crazy. It's not CH-sago lakes it's SHHisago Lakes. Sounds like SHI$ NOT CHIT. Somebody must have said something to them after the 1st ...they finally started to pronounce it correctly. Now they need to get some of th...

Stillwater has to go out and execute some kind of a game plan because all they are doing is reacting to whatever Edina is doing. They are in a tough conference and section so I expected more than this. I think they were just wound too tight about this trip to the Tourney. These kids have been playin...

What is with this AA and A stuff?
It's been a few years since I had kids in youth hockey but I had to laugh at this.
So A is what if AA is the top level?
Why not call it "A lite" like lite beer?
Either you're an A player or not. What is with this?

Re: Classic Suburban ousts St. Thomas
http://www.twincities.com/sports/ci_23029847/high-schools-classic-suburban-conferences-asks-st-thomas The Classic Suburban voted 6-2 to kick STA out of the conference, STA now has to apply to other conferences and if no one accepts them the MSHSL will place them in a conference. Kind of interesting...

One last A tourney for STA to bastardize. Now lets hope that Breck steps up and goes AA. Why so hermantown can win without a doubt . Breck won third place it looks like breck may be the only. Team out there who could put a scare in hermantowns step. People are forgetting that Hermantown has been on...

Re: Private vs Public
......never in my life did I think I would be pulling for Edina but I was because that program still does it the old fashioned way with their own home spun kids.. Exactly. Very strange feeling, indeed. Ideally, I would like to see a private school class, since they have a competitive advantage. But...

I wonder what his old man's username is on this forum  The kid is a loser, probably comes from a family of losers with loser mentalities. This will be his last memory of being a HS hockey player. So many kids worked so much harder than him and never got a chance to play varsity hockey. What...

Education will be fine, if you want to raise a kid who only cares about hockey. What a ridiculous concept, sending your child to school in a hockey rink. Seriously some people should have their head examined. If hockey is this important to the family, send them to a real private school like Shattuck...

Re: Slamming on those haters
Just a shout out to the Little Falls flyers who defeated two private schools to win consolation. They outplayed Duluth Marshall and Rochester Lourdes so anyone who calls that a fluke needs to stay off the meds. About time a actual single A school won something of value. If not for the corruption of ...

Since this seems to be the largest of private vs. public debate, I will post my first question on this thread: If a public school was having the type of success that Saint Thomas is having in the past years, would people be saying they should move up to AA? I would say no if it's a public school fr...
