Re: 93's
If I remember right didn't the 93 Preds beat the 93 Icemen in the championship game of the MN Independant AAA tournament last year? I think the score was 1-0. Also, don't forget the 93 lightning.

At the 94 level there were 3 teams last year. Fire, Blades and Icemen. Now that he Fire and Blad...

94's
94's are easy.
Icemen and Blades are head and sholders above everyone else in this area. Icemen were clearly the best team over the last 2 years with the Blades and Fire running 2 and 3. Now that these two have merged I would think that they would be right there with the Icemen.

Re: Re: Absolutely
I couldn't agree more, but I beleive that the District need to be a little more persuasive in getting the local boards to see the big picture.
What happens now is a group of parents that feel that their kid was somehow slighted in the selection of the merger team get on the local board and dismi...

Re: Re: Absolutely
I think I need to clairify my statement about leveling the playing field. In no way did I mean that MH should add any more rules or regulations. What I should have said was that they need to come up with a way to give every kid the same opportunity to skate at the level they deserve. I see so many k...

Re: Absolutely
Minnesota Hockey has to come up with a way to even the playing field if it wants to keep all of it's best players at home. I don't think there are any quick fixes out there but the powers that be had better take their heads out of the sand and pay attention to what is happening around them. If you h...

Re: who are the top 93 and 94 offseason teams
Not only did they cut kids mid season, a couple of them were coaches kids so they gave the coaches the boot also. Now this season according to the website they have let 4-5 more kids go and replaced them with kids that played for the Fire last summer. They only have a few kids that were on the roste...

94 Selects
If it is anything like the last few years the south will be the strongest team. Most of their kids skate together on a AAA team. That is a big advantage in these types of tournaments. The east should give them a run with the west and north being a bit weaker. I know there are a few kids on the west ...

Bad idea. Let the individuals make up their own minds and spend your time on something more productive. Unbelievable.
