I have confirmed 4 of the invites. Releasing their names prior to USAH posts it would ruin it for the kid. We've elected to keep the names private out of respect for the player and their family. Bwahahaha! That's a totally disingenuous statement from a guy who makes a living, exploiting youth athle...

Brokaw will do the MV program, solid. He's a terrific X's and O's guy and most of the players that play for him, enjoy his style, based on my observations.

Re: Orono

Your damn right I know who he was/is, he is Mike Randolf, Curt Giles, Phil Housley, Pauley, Paulette, Welch, Gordy Roberts, Burce Pante, Decenzo, Esse, and every other coach, coaching high school in Minnesota. He is a guy coaching for nothing financially, just for the love of it and to help young b...

He "committed" there a couple years ago. His summer coach was Brokaw with the Blades and then he also followed him to Competitive Edge.. I'm also sure he's getting the schooling for free like most top end players are these days. *Brokaw is now his high school coach It's interesting becaus...

I'm inclined to believe Anders Lee as he's telling the same story as every NHL'er I've ever spoken with. Multi-sport is the way to go. Disagree if you want, but I think I'll side with them until I hear differently from an NHL'er. Ever spoken with these "year round hockey guys"? Sidney Cro...

Re: Lets Play Hockey Article- Anders Lee and his Development

Kind of a cool article on Anders Lee and his recent success. They talk about how in this day of age, he has developed unconventionally by actually taking his time and not rushing things. He talks about how playing multiple sports, staying in high school and only playing hockey 4 months out of the y...

Sammy is correct. Good player, not great. Not playing last winter really hurt him. 27 and 28 much better. IMO, his first Blades coach did him a real disservice, by having him be the center of their offense. 17 doesn't have a physical presence. Will not work down low. No grit to his game. Very nice k...

'00 Blades are toast...they will never have another competitive team. There just isn't enough talent left in Minneapolis, to achieve the desired skill level. Too many other established, competitive teams to play for. Only way it happens is to bring in either an iconic coach or an iconic player to bu...

Machine still class of this age group :D . After that probably Icemen, Torspo and Blades but no idea what order. May be a few dark horses that got better in the next tier like STE, Synergy, Legacy. If my memory is correct, the 2000 Blades beat Torspo in the Caribou Cup Championship game last year. ...

Cost is going to be around $1400 for Tournament players. Practice players get an obvious discount.
