How about Keegan Iversen?
He would physically crush all of the other candidates

I agree that Breck has to get better on their all-around defensive play, (ie-defense needs to play defense and the forwards need to get back and help out), but it has been doing much better than what has been suggested on this forum. The team has given up 10 goals in 3 games. However, 5 of those hav...

Congrats to all of the players for making it to New York.
You will have a great time in the Big Apple.

Not to be negative, but Select 15's are meaningless in the grand scheme of things.

The only year that matters is 17's.

Wow, that's some harsh words. Just because he likes to shorten the bench while coaching 9/10 yr olds to win a game or pulling his 9 yr old son off the squirt A team because he didn't think he would develop enough at the Squirt A level doesn't mean he is a joke. He is just a typical over the top pare...

Agree. Rem is unbelievable and has a real chance to make the NHL. Also, his dad is the best coach in the history of Wayzata hockey and his sweet hands products are amazing.

They better give his dad the job or he will pack up and take Rem to Shattuck.

Put Pitlick and Snuggerud on the bench together.
Wayzata would definitely keep their better players from leaving for the privates and would make multiple state tourney appearances.

It makes a lot of sense. Hopefully, AD does the right thing

Quite the shocker! Davis has been the rock of the Wayzata HS and youth programs for 16 years. I wish him well in his retirement. As for possible replacements, let start a list: Pat O'Leary-Davis' assistant Larry Olimb-former Wayzata girls varsity head coach Dave Snuggerud-former Chaska head coach an...

West hockey, I'm sorry but times are different. The local youth hockey association isn't a feeder for the local public high school. It is a non-profit community based organization where kids learn how to play hockey. None of the kids are obligated to go to the local high school. If anything, the loc...

How does this affect their 2011-12 schedule?

Same crappy schedule they played last year, but they get
the opportunity to get smoked by Wayzata, BSM, EP or Mtka
in 1st round of section playoffs?

Good game with great atmosphere. STA went up 2-0 but Breck came back to tie up at 2 after 1. Breck up 3-2 after 2. Breck scored in 1st minute of 3rd to make it 4-2. STA scored 3 straight goals within a 3 minute span around 10 minute mark to win 5-4. Difference in the game, STA 3 for 3 on Power play ...

I attended the Breck game last night. Just curious to see how the defending state champs look this year after losing a number of strong players who graduated. T Offense Wes Iverson, Opperman, Anderlee junior line looked very good. Iverson and Opperman are very fast and will put alot of pucks in the ...
