PWA Mr Hockey
If the PWA Mr Hockey were decided in the same way as the actual Mr. Hockey, I'd say this years winner was Andrew Ford, G, Eden Prairie. He led his team to the state title and is ...

Re: Pee Wee A State Tournament MVP
2.00 is very good I say especially considering he is playing the top teams in the whole state. My vote goes to Ford

Mankato
I think this team will have a pretty good shot at going to state next year. I don't think anyone besides the 2nd years (last years Bantam A 1st years) are shoe ins though. Personally, I think Kaufman and Schauer are going to be the goalies next year. They are both amazing when they are hot, and they...

PWA Regions
Great tournament by all teams - fun to watch. The two teams that made it to the finals played the best -Sartell and Faribault. Good luck to Sartell moving on.

As for you, Hockeykid14, good job to you and your Kato teammates.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUser...

PWA result:

Mankato 9
Mound/Westonka 2

Mound came out strong and was in the game in the second period, but when Kato started hitting, the (2-2) game changed fast. Tomorrow is moving day, especially for D4 regular season champ Faribault who plays Buffalo at 8AM

Re: best rivalry
Mankato and Faribault

These two teams have played tough both times they have played even though Faribault came out on top 2-1 both times. But these two teams might play eachother in the 2nd round of regions and i think whoever wins that game will have a really good chance of going to state. <...

I would have to go with WBL's old rink. They had a locker room right next to the rink with no ceiling. It was pretty cold.

Roseau
I think this team will make it to state but I don't think they will get far. We played against them and their goaltending needed a ton of help, but that as at the beginning of the year so I don't know what they are like now. Roseau has some big guys but I don't think that will get them trough state....

New Ulm PWA finished 14-0 in the West and only lost by one to Faribault. I think they will make it out of districts.

What about EP? Very solid goaltending, and haven't they been #1 whole year they.
