saints won 5-1.

Jr. Wild
Considering the Jr. Wild are an "open team" they seem to be a pretty good team. I have seen them play at previous tournaments and they have a lot of depth. They may not win the tournament, but I would guess they will give most teams more then they are planning on.

93 Open
1st Minnesota Vipers
2nd Up Selects
3rd Jr. Mavericks
4th Minnesota Stars

Re: 93 Open
The 93 Vipers are playing Minnesota Showcase league, but their real name should be Wisconsin Vipers. All fourteen players are from NW Wisconsin. (Altoona, Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, Hayward, Menomonie, New Richmond, River Falls, Rice Lake, Spooner) Not one of these players played for the Vipers last season. Besides the Mn Stars, none of the games were even close.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... nrtiger at: 5/2/06 10:10 am

Re: 93 Open
those games might have not been close in score, but what about the 2-0 win over UP selects? The one against Acceleration Minnesota looked way worse than it really was, as the game was very much equal other than a couple of minutes of play in which the vipers scored 5 goals.

Re: 93 Open
even though the vipers won it i dont think they were the best team. In leage play they lost to wolverines who arent very good. not saying that they arent good just i dont think they should have won. there record in leauge play is only 4-3.

Re: 93 Open
Friday's game was the first time the entire team got together for a game or a practice. With everyone present, this group plays very well together. Maybe we were not the best team in the tourney, but we played the best and we had one of the toughest roads to the championship. Mn Stars were good, but got out coached. Sometimes it is hard to admit that the boys from across the river can play hockey too.

Re: 93 Open
There has to be underdogs in sports, or else there would be no point in warching or playing them. Yeah, they may be 4-3 in league, but they played some great games to get into the championship and win it.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... breaker at: 5/5/06 6:12 am
