Finally...........
Thank you I have been thinking the same thing for weeks. No offense to gmfh, but can't that sort of stuff be put somewhere else? Maybe under older topics? Does one really have to 'bump' the postings so they all stay at the top of the list? Please move all these capsules and polls regarding past MN H...

Re: Fall Elite League
Does anyone know how this process works? Have heard some players have already been notified on roster while players that made final 54 have not even received invite to tryout. Being an elite player has very little to do with the Elite League. This league has ignored some of the best players in the ...

He should have be nominated.
Get a grip, folks. The Great 8 rosters are voted on by the coaches from each section, so there should be no questioning Esse. He did not select the roster. One of three things happened: 1) The section coaches voted for 2 other goaltenders. 2) The goaltender in question turned down a spot on the tea...

Re: Goalie Delay Game Intentional
That theory stuck in your craw eh! :) He had no reason to with that 2-0 start. The Flyers were already in cruise control. My hat is off to the Young men in the purple and white. They are a very nice up tempo puck controlling team. I was impressed by the great sportsmanship they displayed during the...

Re: Goalie Delay Game Intentional
How often do we see goalies knocking the goal off intentionally during heavy pressure situations and do the officials typically call delay of game, penalty shot or call nothing? The reason I am asking is in the Sartell vs Little Falls game Sat. eve Sartell was putting heavy pressure on the L F netm...

Re: Lyons
The kid can play between the pipes. Bottom line is he stops the puck! Any coach would love to have a tender do just that! I am not sure about Lyon's stats. Two games show 0 shots on goal. I suppose at the last minute they will 'fix' that and thus secure his lead in save %............. That has got ...

Re: Bitzer
A couple things about Bitzer, started playing full time as a peewee, moved up to high school instead of playing two years of bantams, didn't lose as a freshman, 9-0 is a stud baseball player nobody works harder and enjoys the position more than he does He is raw and is athletic as you can get. Good...

Stumpf from Little Falls has led the state in save % for two or three weeks during the heart of the season (some time flip flopping between him and Jennetta) and ranks high in GAA. Held Hibbing to 1 goal despite Hibbing out shooting LF. Played well against Tech and Brainerd. Hibbing and Brainerd ha...

Here is my Top 10 Goalies this year with reasons why... 1.) Charlie Lindgren (Lakeville North)- Lindgren is a junior and has played power house schools andhe attends not the best high school hockey team but is able to help them pull of some big upset wins. He has really improved from last year. I w...

Sounds like some poor reffing. A hit to the head is a penalty. The refs need to take control of these games so they can be played correctly. Reduce the number of injuries, and concussions, by making the calls. The ref should speak with each team for one minute before the game and explain the way th...

Re: The game
Well I have stayed quiet long enough. I first and foremost want to tip my hat to Little Falls for a great game and to their win. They were the better team that night. Now to the others in this forum, I sat center ice above the penalty box area. I had a great view of the game. I saw an aggressive ph...
