Question about the forum

Post by WB6162 »

I really appreciate what you guys do with this forum, thanks! I'm just wondering if anytime soon this software will be moved into the next century? Half the time I get an error and a time out when I try to read a thread. There is no way to post pictures, is this like Windows 95 format?

How about it guys?

You might get a response if you email Mitch.

I actually prefer it like it is with just text as once you open it up to pictures and HTML people don't know how to control themselves and you get way too much "stuff" and not enough information.

I occaisionally have problems accessing the site from work but I think that's due to the proxy server involved. From home I seldom have an issue.

I completely agree. Keep the site the way it is. Allowing newer technologies will only cause problems.

Its annoying from time to time, but it still works in the end. Hate to lose the forum; it keeps me sane for the most part.... 8-[

It's not the software. I would imagine it ts the servers that this is on and the bandwidth to them. I am sure they would take donations to purchase new stuff.
